XBOX freezes ones in a while when AURORA downloading content

Hi,

Ones in a while, usually during content download my XBOX freezes totally, nothing works but plug the power cable out and back in.

It happens about 2 times a day.

I installed 0.4b and upgraded to latest 0.5b, same issue is seen with both releases.

I came from Freestyle 3, it never freezes before.

Anyone know how to overcome this?

Hi,

I have the same problem, just my XBOX is restarting instead of freezing, i think its happend only when downloading Boxart for specifics games, but im not sure about it, i installed the Aurora 0.5b yesterday and didnt check it in deep.

First, transfer the files in the folder to your computer using FTP or copy 'n' paste to a USB device and put that on the PC

Next, you'll want to zip them up with winzip, 7-zip, winrar or similar...

Once you've done that, press "More Reply Options" on the right side -> of the page in the "Reply to this topic" area of the thread, this will take you to the Advanced editor or whatever we should call it, under the textbox you'll see "Attach Files", just choose the file and voila!

From the looks of the logs, it's having issues converting the downloaded data to a resource, are you by any chance using Wifi? it might work as it should if you use ethernet instead (wired connection)

I'll see if i can spot the reason for the crash tho so we can fix it properly instead of having everything crashing thanks for the bug report!

No, im using a wired connection and its happen always with the same games.

its not critical, i can always upload a cover using the AuroraAssetEditor, but it will be nice if you can release an update with the fix.

Can you tell me what game it is? maybe the file on the server is corrupt, if that's the case i can fix it for you by removing that cover from the server

None of those titles appear to have any issues with the covers on the server :/
