xCookes 2 Posted April 20, 2015 So as the title states I just installed Aurora, and with this I want to ask a few questions. So far I'm not overly happy with this new dash, however I respect that's its still in development. So my questions are: Will a fan controller be added onto Aurora ? As for me this is almost vital, the Xenon I have now gets very hot very quickly, on F3 I have fans on 95% constantly. Will any sort of page setup be added e.g. I don't like having all my Emulators, applications and games mixed up.. and this filter option already implemented is pointless. Also slightly off topic was the Link on F3 purposely broken in order to attract users to Aurora as Link no longer works on F3 for m,e but doews on Aurora.. But hey on the positive side that new boot time is nice, and the new options tab on the games is very snazzy Keep up the good work and thanks in advanced anyone who answers my questions
Swizzy 2084 Posted April 20, 2015 Fan controls will NOT be added, it's been answered a million times already, use Dashlaunch/xeBuild to modify these settings instead Why is the filters pointless? they give you by far better control of what gets displayed and not, learn to use it and you'll find that it have everything you need and more! Nope, it wasn't broken, it should still be working in F3 as long as you're using rev
JohnnyUSA 13 Posted April 20, 2015 Use Dashlaunch to setup FANSpeed as Swizzy said. As about the filters, they are wicked once you get used to them. I was a bit confused also at start, but now, i just find it perfect. Imagine the filers thing as being an user coming from Windows 7 to the new Windows 8, at first you'll hate it but once you get the hang, you're going to love it
xCookes 2 Posted April 21, 2015 Alright thanks guys, I will be sure to look into that fan controller thing, that was always my main problem, I apologise for my lack of knowledge on these matters I'm very Rusty Back in 2011-12 when I first had my Jtag we didn't have such fancy software I certainly hope I can get use to the filters
