Recommended Posts

Sorry for the stupid question but i was just wondering.. since my fsd is only installed on and external hdd and not on the internal memory, can i just unplug the hdd and run to original dash and join xbox live? Is it still not recommended?

If you have "dual nand" you can by turning off your JTAG/RGH

Otherwise no, you connect to live, they'll detect the chip

Ussually you have to pay ALOT more for a dualnand/dualboot and you ussually have a special connector with switches on it to change the nand used... if you see nothing like that around your console... you most likely don't have dual nand...
