jeffmangum 4 Posted March 8, 2014 Sorry for the stupid question but i was just wondering.. since my fsd is only installed on and external hdd and not on the internal memory, can i just unplug the hdd and run to original dash and join xbox live? Is it still not recommended?
irishdave 236 Posted March 8, 2014 If you have "dual nand" you can by turning off your JTAG/RGH Otherwise no, you connect to live, they'll detect the chip
jeffmangum 4 Posted March 8, 2014 How do I know if i have that? Maybe the store i bought this did that and didnt say it to me.. or probably not.. Since its pretty uncommon to have dual nand right?

Ussually you have to pay ALOT more for a dualnand/dualboot and you ussually have a special connector with switches on it to change the nand used... if you see nothing like that around your console... you most likely don't have dual nand...
