mossman70 12 Posted March 2, 2014 Hello people, Just wondered if there is a work around for the problem I'm having? I've got a r-jtagged 360 running FSD3 with an internal 1TB HDD I've partioned to allow playing of Xbox original games, anyway the game has been made into GOD format but when I click to play the game I get an error which reads 'The VGA HD AV Cable does not support the Pal 50 setting' goes onto say about connecting a composite or advanced scart blah blah (error X:5829.0 B5829.0). Is there a workaround for this as the VGA cable I use has been run in through trunking to the back of my tv and is a pain to swop? I will be altering all my home cinema equipment in the future and will swap it to HDMI so another question is will I still get the same error? Thanks
Swizzy 2085 Posted March 2, 2014 My guess is that this issue will go away when you swap to HDMI... The workaround would be to enter the settings menu and changing PAL settings to "PAL-60" instead of "PAL-50" which is the defaults, you might not see this while you're in VGA mode, i don't know...
