superdead 0 Posted December 24, 2013 i have purchased a rechargeable batteries pack for my controller when i turn on the controller all 4 lights are flashing and it wont sync with the xbox360.if i take the battery out and put back the a regular pack with 2 double A batteries the controller will sync right away.any ideas ?! thank you Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Long shot and pretty stupid, but if you have a Play and Charge kit (Stupid of me because if you did you probably wouldn't be using batteries) but if you do try plug the charger into the console then the controller and turning it on. Should recognise as a wired controller and sync straight away.It's never recognized as a wired controller, the data is still transfered wirelessly... the only thing that the cable does is help with the syncing (it doesn't require you to press the sync button on etheir side)When you use a wired controller (not wireless with the play 'n' charge kit) and it's not syncing it's generally because the DATA cables are broken (the 2 connected in the middle) one of them or both...
