I mean.. There is a version of rgl 17489 floating around, that patches in the retail keys for dev consoles.. Lol..

i itried that version, it doesnt read from USB and avatar isnt running I found this crazy post in demon forum but I couldnt understand the bold part, to quote

"ok so i have tinkered with this.. and figured out why there is no avatars, and why there is a freeze upon going to stock dash..

you need to use the minimal payload, the one that is 2kb, not the 4kb one(this will fix the hud problems and such)

then you need to hexedit rglXam.rglp and modify 01 44 67 to 01 44 51..
^^^^^^ this is the reason for the freeze/error on going to stock dash, as it is "spoofing" the stock dash to 17526, when in actuality it really is just dash 17489..

i have pulled my OWN 17489 devkit files, and there is no actual 17526 anything in these "releases".. besides the "crappy" spoof"

2. Greetings,

I found a way to turn these unprogrammed CPU from china into dev cpu, I tried to flash them as retail with low CB LDV counter but failed to do (story for another topic).

Anyways, Im trying to Run Xell on a dev unit but somewhere it fails and reboots till it gets RROD. However, glitch 2 ECC image works just fine which means it contains patches to ignore Fuse01 (dev fuse identification line).

If someone got a clue on how to make Xebuild Jtag image to ignore fuse line 01 ) it would be very grateful.

Thanks

Yeah.. It would be hardware limitations.. The 360 only has 512MB of ram man.. Most phones tower that these days..

Not to mention the limitations of the console itself..

thanks buddy, but it still rises my eyebrows every time I launch an og Xbox games, it almost run flawlessly on Xbox 360, and it wasnt intended to run all og xbox library.

Thus, it is defanitely possible to run it at full speed, I dont think ram is the limiting factor as you get plenty (320 or above mb of DDR3 high speed memory), I remember I was running / playing Ps1 games on 128 RD ram Pentium 4 computer back in my days.

Again, I really hate to be mr complain, If I think there is a room for improvement, then I should get my ass and do it myself than complaining in forums.

Thanks and hats off to the authors.

4. whats your plan for the future of this emulator? I do really love this emulator, tons of efforts were made (similarly to N64 and DC emulator). I hate to be that person but when we should expect this emulator to run at at full speed ? is it hardware limitation?

5. its amazing how this Xbox 360 run many OG xbox tiles with high accuracy emulation & at 512 MB of ram.

Im very surprised the Xbox 360 scene died so quickly compared to the ps3.

P.S

I own both Ps4 and Xbone and these two are shitty consoles and my total play time on these two doesnt exceed 40 hours combined.

6. Greetings,

A 4-5 months ago I posted a thread (now it has been archived https://www.se7ensins.com/forums/threads/new-xbox-cpu-with-0-efuses-all-fuses.1736634/) on how to setup a unprogrammed Xbox 360 (phat) as a dev unit, Im redoing the same but to make it as retail with 0 LDV, in other words you can run a blade dash / NXE retail and possibly run Jtag hack on it! Long story short, I was shocked when I found ebay listing for old dashboard consoles being sold 300$+ and decided to buy the CPU for 20$ and try it myself.

Now Im trying to boot a retail dashboard for this new CPU but with no avail, I can however, run devkit image through RGH2 . I assume this has to do with LDV and CFLDV .

Note that my CB LDV looks like FuseSet 02: 00000000F

Even though the recovery disk is dated in NOV 2008, it setup my cpu with CB LDV 8, now I believe Im stuck.

Here is the steps I followed,

1- RGH 1.2 or RGH2 install
2- Run a devkit image (use Xecuter's Fusion 1.09)
3- Insert XenonRecoveryDisk once the dashboard is booted ( it wont launch otherwise and kernel panic)
4- You can now set the console as devkit or as a retail (press Y for retail)
5- The console now will reboot
6- If you are using a slim console then you are fine, if you are running it on FAT, the console now is bricked (black screen) .
7-Creat ECC for RGH2 and write it
8-you will be greeted with Xell with all with a new CPU key ( CPU fuse line isnt 0 now)
9- ???????

This is where Im stuck, I do have all information but cant run any retail dashboard.

please share your thoughts.

Many thanks!

=============P.S=============

at step 4, if you go for a dev option, Fuse02 will be intact and reports all 0s. and you can run any remote recovery or recovery disk and install the latest leaked ver. of XDK. You can also remove all wires for both glitcher and nand reader.

I have one last unprogrammed CPU at hand if someone have a clue on how to modify recovery disk to burn certain fuseline. I also dont know if you can J-tag a Devunit to run retails on it.

7. I upgraded the nand, ran XDKRecoveryXenon7978.exe selected flash 6719, then it ran and copied the files, gave me an error S1040, ran it again and now I have this

Im having an issue with this KV, as it treats the drive as slim! Got fixed however with nandpatch ! Notice also the LDV for CB, fuse line 2 & at fuse line 7 both zeros and never burnt. Also, Im not sure about fuse1 for devkit, does it look like this?

Im running a dev dashboard now :D, at least I get this far

8. I made this image through fusion with 0 CPU key, if the CPU key has any other value than zeros, the console wont boot. Then you have to prepare a usb stick with "Fusion 1.09" files, simply copy the content of "bootdisk" into usb formatted as fat32. After that, you will be greeted with glorified boot animation (Fusion's) and the console then the console outputs nothing, BUT you can access its network through Xbox 360 neighborhood; of course you have to connect Ethernet cable to the same router/access point of your computer then you can find the IP address of your xbox in your router Lan page.

You can pretty much run any dev-kit recovery image and burn the fuses if you want of course, but you need a bigger nand, and I tried to to solder a bigger nand but it didnt work, probably there are missing resistors, I dont to waste time on figuring out how to upgrade nand size.

Here is all the files you need, but make sure you swap SMC matching your board.

Thanks for your replies.

https://www.mediafire.com/file/asi5dh9lf3vzf1a/CPU_0_Phat_BOAD_Image_as_Dev-Kit.rar/file

In short, I need a null CPU key (all zeros) to boot into dashboard or else kernel panic, at the same time I need a valid CPU key to execute kernel  files:biggrin:.

All what Im trying to do is burn the efuses and get a random valid CPU key, or else the xbox can do nothing but run libxenon :D

You can find these special kind of cpu on shops like aliexpress. Maybe  its from a mass production like rubensyama said. If you have a cpu Key that is matched  your nand of your console, you can use the cpu. XeBuild contains special patches for it.

I tried to build retail image for this chip, it fails because the LDV for this CPU is 0, the lowest build I could make is 7371 in J-RUnner.

I was looking for dashboard v1888 (probably wont check for LDV) or the first dev nand dumb. I failed to find these files online.

If anyone have a backup somewhere, please share.

10. So I’ve installed the new cpu , rgh 1.2 setup and it was working on previous cpu . Now I’m getting rrod 0022 after 30 secs with no output on retail nand on the new cpu .

I don’t know what to do now as I’m stuck at this point.

Ive created new ECC and for some reason it now boots xell and it shows all zeros as expected.

I guess Im on the right track now so far, I belevie I have two options:

1- Flash the console as Dev Unit (Ver. 7371 or less)

2- Recall the Key_Blow function.

Thanks.

11. Can we use them for Jtag instead of rgh?

I have few jaspers laying with cpu key of course around around and I want to downgrade them .

what if I don’t have the CPU key and the nand is formatted ?

many thanks guys the video is in Spanish but it is understandable

12. Greetings,

Ive come across multiple sellers offering new Xbox CPUs straight from the production line not even programmed, meaning these cpu can virtually have and CPU key and DVD keys.

Why they are selling it? How to manually burn efuses? anyone tried them before?

Ive read somewhere they can be manually programmed by XDK - or Special disk. Would be great if someone can give info about them.

The sad thing those can not be used to run normal dashboard, debug dash? possible.

Here is a screen shot found in google.

If the people who maintain this forum, such as me didnt joke around we would probably be banning a lot of people. I had every right to ban you for breaking the forum rules just for suggesting that you wanted to download the xbox 360 version of the game. Piracy talk is not supported on this forum. Instead, I decided to make a joke, that also could help you with your problem. So, while I was joking, I was also helping you, in a round about loophole way. Take it or leave it. That being said, if the people on this forum didnt joke, we would be posting a ton of rude shit, because we are tired of answering the same questions every time a noob doesnt want to search the forum or google for proper information, or when the dont quite understand something, then decide to open a new thread. Pretty much any question you could have regarding games, dashboards, kernels, dashlaunch, plugins, trainers, etc(excepting programming for the 360) have been answered on this site alone like 300+ times. If people cant decipher the information, then they need to get a new hobby, because we have lives, and it isnt our job to hold your hand. We help the community because we want to. Sometimes that means we do it with attitude. Have you ever noticed that the developers in Team Phoenix(Excepting Swizzy and now days this applies to him as well) hardly ever post on the forum? There is a reason for that. They dont want to deal with it, and leave it up to people like Felida, Dr. Gonzo, Saywaking, and I to handle. Now dont get me wrong, 3 out of the 4 names there are all part of team phoenix as well, in a testing capacity, but we arent actively developing for them.

and this is why I like this forum!

We should have a ps4,vita and 3ds section.

Nice, works like a charm on mine.

Does anyone know how to make Turok run without crashing after some time? Because you can start playing and see that the game has a good framerate and it's working fine, until it crashes.

I put "AccurateTextureMapping=1" on the Turok part of RiceVideoLinux.ini, like the other Turok titles have, and it kinda gives the game a better performance (the title screen doesn't stutter for a second anymore), but it still crashes after some time playing.

the emulator isnt complete sadly, its very close though.
