  1. You need to unlock the old hard drive. If was built with xboxhdm the password should be XBOXSCENE or TEAMASSEMBLY.

Once hard drive unlocked you need to lock drive to new console. I find chimp to be easyest. You dont need to clone or anythink other than locked hard drive.

Once finished its a good idear to null the eeprom using rocky5 softmod tool incase you ever need to replace hard drive agen.

Rocky5 also has updated chimp. It can be found on his github along with his softmod pack.

Its mobileB.dat and mobileC.dat iirc.. But you can always manually change it back in xshell. And it will save..

You any info on editing these files? I opened with notepad++

They are settings you can change.. In mobile.dat .. I tried to make this build accessable for everyone.. But if you notice.. The rgbuild.exe is drastically smaller than any other release

Thanks i will look into this mobile.dat more. I switched filesystem from a differnt one found online now i cant tell rgloader apart from a real xdk.

Great for anyone wanting to dev for the 360

  4. Thanks works alot smother than other RGLoaders found online.

There is a bug what changes your ip to a random one. In all the 17489 builds i found.

    Worked with my falcon rgh1.2

  6. just a quick update. his released a alpha build for non bleavers to test, just a copy and past

    XBMC-360 Alpha v1.0
    ========================
This is a port of XBMC4XBOX to XBox 360 using the Microsoft XBox 360 SDK (not using Linux and Kodi).

This is only the bare skeleton of the application at the moment, there are still many missing features and minor bugs.

    Download compiled build (28-8-18): here

    Current Status:

GUILIB: As of now only the basics of the GUILib have been ported and missing many control types, however the basic controls are there and working well.

DVDPLAYER: The FFmpeg based core named DVDPlayer is still missing sections/features, but it works well.

Note: The FFmpeg libraries included where ported to Xbox 360 by Ced2911, they are quite old (2011).

I've got 2 consoles one has 1tb sata and the other 1tb SSD there is no notable difference in load times. 360's are governed by their original hardware.

bit like putting a race driver in a fiesta, the vehicle controls top speed, he does'nt improve it's performance. A SSD will last longer

If you have ssd connected via usb2 you wont notice no difference. the original hardware is sata2 the same as most older pcs

Take a read here they are saying sata 1, I have tested myself and noticed a big differnce

  8. yes put in slim console format it and it works alot faster than a normal hdd, even loading dashboard and that is alot faster, i think there a video or was on youtube shows gta v loading like 30+ sec faster

here  a vid to check out

i tryed awhile back with 128gb ssd it was great and alot faster all round

xbox 360 uses sata2, putting thro usb wouldnt make much of a difference as usb2

I only say that, because when I first talked to Marty about this, it was like 2 years ago, and all he was working on was porting the gui, and it ran but was full of issues.

yer has took awhile but is a shit tone of work for 1 guy. i would say it usable the way it is atm. he sent me a built on the 6th but he added/fix alot since then

It is nice to see that he is getting somewhere with this project.

Yes he done really well. Hopefully some more devs get involved soon to speed things up

  11. I have been talking to marty28 the coder who is porting xbmc to the 360. Check his work out here

After alot of bugging from me he sent me a built xbmc for the 360 to test.

He is working on a alpha release that should be soon looking at his github

There is some bugs that to be expected. Overall it works alot better than he said it would audio and video are in sync

If any one would like to help port this project please get in contact

he has added and edited alot since he shared a build with me

    the github been updated daily

For this to be successful it must be able to be updated for the new builds of Kodi. And I don't know how well it will handle H.265 for newer HD videos. I hope he succeeds.

He is looking for devs to help port it if any one can spare some time

    Yah, I think you're right.

You catch that Dolphin.xex teaser in his video? Makes me wonder if he's planning a port of that too. I did a google and found this.

    EDIT

In my stupidity I thought it was in reference to a gamecube to 360 project.. I thought Xenia was near completion?

Check out his youtube his done afew things mainly for og xbox

    XBMC is getting there

His active on emuExtras.com if need to contact him

Oh I get it, the point was the SMC was not a regular one. Before reading the article I thought it was just a regular NAND. Anyway, the glitch led blinking pattern doesn't look like the S-RGH I found in youtube. Mine is more like RGH2: a single blink, lasting a second or maybe a little less, every 5 seconds or so.

If its a normal rgh it should glitch now

I cant really think of what els could be must be hardware related

  16. My guess is this consol was glitched using the s-rgh method

You updated the nand using normal rgh2 method

There afew ways to fix this

    - flash the rgx timming files to dgx and see if it try and glitch

    - rebuild nand using smc.bin for s-rgh

Google rgh2 and s-rgh watch a video of them glitching, they glich verry differnt

Rgh2 - led blinks on once every few secs

S-rgh - led off and on alot long flashes and short blinks

If you can remeber how this console boots you could work out what hack was used

TLDR: Even having the courage to solder the SD adapter I probably couldn't have fixed the console.

A few hours spent in the service guy's garage but still nothing. He uses AutoGG and, upon loading the original NAND ("original" as in "before my update", not the retail of course) it reported a "Fake CPU key". He said it was bad, though I'm still not sure what it means since I couldn't find any documentation. He then re-created an image from a donor using the same CPUKey and AutoGG turned to green this time. New image flashed and… no glitch. He tried (a looong) full NAND erase and re-flashing the image but to no avail. Not sure what would happen by re-flashing the "original" (backup with the "Fake CPU Key") image, the guy says it's not worth it because it wouldn't work. He's gonna do some more tests, but suggested I try to find the retail NAND, uninstall the RGH and start again from scratch. So the story is still open ended. I'm also deeply hating Coronas.

    Hava a read here

    http://www.hackfaq.net/main/s_rgh/

Try rebuild nand using smc.bin included in download

You cant use any retail nand on console inly the console original nand you could build 1 as long as you have the kv that match the console

Im just going to stop talking to you.. because your nitpicking 1 line and trying to be all keyboard warrior..

Ofc rgh1 was never for slims, because slims have always had the split cb, phats didnt.. in laymens terms, anything modded outside of the original method is a moddified version.. is where the fuck i was getting at.. but your simple behind wants to nitpick..

No nitpicking just correcting your misstake

Also note i dint swear once in my reply or state you know nothink dispite your posts

    - dgx is a 5v chip is compatible with all s-rgh timming files

    - selecting the cr4 check box in j-runner will shorted the glitch cycle

Is the points i was trying toake here

  19. 8 hours ago, felida said:

srgh is basically 1.2 for slims.. it was what i was getting at.. 1.2 is by 15432, so is s-rgh.. and if you read my earlier posts, i put in ( ) the 1.2 is modified for slims.. not the same as 1.2 is phats.. no shit i know this.. dont take something out of context..

AND you dont find DGX chips, because they were ONLY used to get the CPU key.. the ECC was released to ALLOW other chips(coolrunners/ect.) to get into xell to get the CPU keys, so TeamXecuter released files to convert the DGX chips to USABLE glitch chips, HENCE RGX timing files..

NOW the chips ARE different, DIFFERENT layouts.. DIFFERENT CODING, ect..

AND the replies ARENT useless, as the OP can read and come to an understanding of what chip they have in their system, and the BEST way to go from here, seeing as a person with the skills to solder something in isnt that far away.. they could suggest using an ace v3 for the s-rgh.. OR they can get a rev d, or cr3lite, and continue from there..

so let's put it this way:

laymens terms - you NEED a chip with a 48mhz crystal for corona.. ace chips arent coolrunners, DGX isnt ace chips, DGX chips have been CONVERTED to RGX for use outside of just getting the CPU key.. CLONES work just like the original IF they are decent quality.. but thats where ACE chips are recommended, as they arent clones, persay..

S-rgh was out befor rgh1.2 and only worked on phats becouse rgh1 was only on phats

No rgh1 for slims so will never be modifided rgh1.2 for slims

U cant use coolrunner or mattix glitcher or any 3.3v chip for s-rgh 5v chips only

  20. 1 hour ago, felida said:

You cant flash the dgx file, because they were never released.. the chip came pre programmed.. the RGX files yeah, doesnt mean they will work.. as they were specifically made for the dgx to be converted.. so saying something is like something when it is not,  is where i say stop posting misinformation..

I could easily flash the files to any chip, doesnt mean it will work, now.. i have a dgx chip, used it as an rgx, even tried the modified rgh1.2 for slim, still a pretty crappy chip lol.. coolrunner rev D, cr3lite clones, ect have all worked just fine.. for rgh2.. the rgh1.2 says it CAN work on dgx chip, coolrunner rev c, cr3lite, ect.. but it has way better compatibility on the latest ace chips, v3 i think.. AND the ace chips are way cheaper than anything else price wise.. corona needs the crystal since it doesnt have the on board clock.. for timing.. which is the difference between the official coolrunner rev c, and bootleg rev d..

You cant rgh 1.2 any slim as far as i know there was only ever rgh2 for slims

S-rgh with speedup smc.bin for slims

I get what your saying the ace v1 isnt the same as the v3, but the xilinx chip is the same so isit on the dgx

I dont have a dgx must be getting kinda rare now days, I needed 1 then rgh2 come out so never ordered one

Can a mod remove all theses replys , we was trying to help then got side tracked lol
