    Giving a reason doesn't mean that it is the topic.

    From the information you have given in the first post ( i assume) that your main aim for updating the dash is to connect to live.. Thats it.. No other things mentioned.. I have linked you what you needed(things that are allowed to share on this site) and yeah...

    I have said it already i will say it again play on link its free and its fun( isnt this what you/most of us need?)

    Yes you can.. jqe360 is old now replaced by xboxunity.net.. When you have an account on unity you can play on LiNK on only games that support system link.. Like cod series halo games etc also get covers and TU..

    But it is different than xbox live..

    I'm sorry, what do you mean? I can't play LiNK?

    P.S: I've mantioned the IP of the Ethernet between Xbox and laptop, the other IP (WiFi) differs. 192.168.1.103. 

    Also my IP changes when router is being restarting. Maybe this will give more information.

    What type of connection do you have? (Dsl,cable,or other)

    Mine doesnt save/set as well.. But it DOES show up in xbox when i try ..i even did once again just to be sure and it does show up even when there are no keyframes.. Dont know whats the problem.. Most probably like Felida said xdk has bugs..

    My xdk version is 2.0.21119.0..

    Easiest way use your mobile/tablet.. No hassle of transferring over to pc for the screenshots taken with aurora feature.. Basic things...

    Otherwise if you want to take screenies in aurora/xbox hold activator press trigger.. Check in aurora settings what you have set up for trigger/activator and press and hold accordingly.. (Cand remember the default exactly atm)

    Edit- another thing what kernel/dash version you are currently on?

    When you are in network settings press 'rb' to go to additional settings and then there will be an option to reset network settings..(might be a little different on the latest dash)

    First thing if you have no experience in doing this stuff then you should probably start editing the default aurora skin(default.xzp) rather than trying trying to create your own from scratch... Yes editing a readymade skin is possible.. And i believe i posted that not exactly sure..

    Yes xzptool is like an extracting tool like winrar/7 zip etc

    Well i was in the same sitiuation as yours and it took me a while to figure out that xdk/sdk isnt a application on its own(still not sure) but what i found out that it let me view files with special extensions.. (.xur,.xui files I believe)(still not sure about this)

    Xbox ui tool is a part of the sdk i believe ... Photoshop will be required for other things but you CANT edit the skin with it

    I was also interested in making my own skin but i knew NOTHING same as you ... But now it's different..

    And also dont forget checking each and everyone of Felida's tutorial very carefully.. Also make sure while seeing his tuts the computer screen is right front of you(the xdk screen) otherwise you wont understand anything... Atleast thats what happened to me lol :p

    hi guys am having problem playing bo2 on system link every time i try to join a game it says error unable to join game . can anyone help

    do all your tests pass?

    It gives you that error cause you are too far away from host or on a different TU (unlikely on BO2)

    1- I meant on this forum + I couldn't find an answer using google just tutorials and ...

    2- So who are the launchers of aurora and are the creators of the next release (Nova or Aurora 0.6) ? and how can i contact gligli and tiros ??

    3- That's isn't logic bro, I can't believe that you pay for games you can play the same for free knowing that it won't change anything for you because even the developpers doesn't care anymore about our console

    1) out of all my posts alone i believe atleast telling 10 people about this matter.. And thats just me and im NOT a very old member of this site..

    2)Aurora is a homebrew app/ custom game launcher/ and os for xbox i would say.. It is developed by Team Phoenix

    3) if you know how much the devs work on the games and you understand their pain then you wouldnt be stealing games.. You will understand this when you have your own product that costs say 10$ and you go on selling it and people instead of buying it from you they will steal it .. And for all your hardwork you wont get paid.. Some/most of us dont like stealing other peoples work so we buy they game even there are places where you can get it for free..

    And also my observation is you think the main reason hackforxbox/jtag/rgh were created because to get the games for free... YOU ARE WRONG

    You WILL get banned if you connect to live whether it is silver or gold..

    You can get all the stuff you want by getting a retail console and transferring the stuff you need to your jtag/rgh

    We DONT support xbls/connecting to live here.. You will get NO support regarding that matter!!
