  1. Sorry, stupid auto settings..editing post now with non passworded...im sorry! Both are straight from GaDaBaMa....its just i didnt download that information for the working one, i manually entered it into GaDaBaMa. Is how i know some works with Aurora....Im thinking its the size or something like Swizzy said.....but there are alot of tags at the end, wasnt sure if that's where it was messing up. But for the 1 liner to work, and the ones with alot of into not working, im thinking along with Swizzy (plus he checked the file...LoL). (Yeah i tried to get Keyser too but with no luck).

    Thanks guys, Last 2 things for Aurora I 'needed' manual cover and info adding...........and like i said, worse to worse i can take the working one and just copy n paste the infos (im thinking..LoL), just thought it was weird and was hoping there was an easy fix so i could copy n paste...LoL.

    Fixed working download also, sorry for the password, didnt think i had zips to password.



    Plain text didnt work, but testing the manual changing now, will edit with update, and whats werid in the working one i dont see a decription..

    ok, after playing alot more it seems now i cannot get the gameassetinfo.bin to matter anymore....even the ones that worked I cannoot edit....I think i just need a break....as the content is stored in DB, not the GameAssetInfo.bin files, correct? If that's the case then editing this .bin file wont affect Aurora. I'm starting to think its pulling the working info's from somewhere else. (Never really looked at the synopsis before as I only tested briefly before).

    how about trying to edit a WORKING aurora asset?? and then swap that out?? i know there are specific settings to them, as i tried just copying a working asset.bin to an emu(unedited).. and it did not show up.. has to be the way aurora is setup?? but as i've stated.. they have tried to contact creater of GaDamBa or w.e and no luck with that..


    Sent swizzy a PM with info i have found out about this!! as im pretty sure it shouldnt be public knowledge.. but i'm pretty sure he'll figure out how to work it and pop out another proggy, or add it into his already badass asset editor!

  2. Of course, and thank you! Its in xml..maybe that is why all the tags and stuff.....im editing manually now to test without all the BS...as the non-live GameAssetInfo.bin's are working fine. Just got back from taking out the xml, and trying plain text...of course that didnt work either...LoL. By non-live above i mean the Game Description was input by me and not downloaded via GaDaBaMa (not live stuff in xml and missing all the tags at the end). The downloaded ones (mostly) are what Im having issues getting Aurora to show.

    I do have a dashlaunch one working with Aurora tho that I manually input into GaDaBaMa...will post that also. I can always just take a working one and re-edit that for all my games if needed i guess, just wondering why I cant copy n paste some and i can others.

    and imma shoot in the dark, and say thay are diff structures? and GaDaBaMa doesnt support Aurora.. as they have tried to contact the dev of that program and no luck.. but it is trying to be worked out..

  3. ok so when I go to test LiNK, everything passes except the UDP ports. they fail almost every time. but when they do pass. the system link bar on the guide button will be greyed out when im on bo2. also tried while on mw2.

    obviously missed the point where it's all the same folder.. as there is no TU for  43430840.. as it is a sub part of 5841144C.. this is the AC/AW/and double disk game issue.. as the install content disc 1(is the TU u get) but play on disk 2..

  5. You should've used forum search first that said use xell or dashlaunch to set target temps,in dashlaunch you have option for auto target temp control or constant,the former is the better of the two,can't comment on xell as i don't know how to use it

    dashlaunch.. or SMC config while building freeboot image.. xell doesnt do that.. xell allows you to flash the image created..


  6. Well, it has to be stored in memory, otherwise it's lost the second that it's finished loading (at which point it'd be totally useless anyways)

    I'll think about it, see what i implement :) but first, something more useful; ability to download assets directly from xbox.com (similar to what Aurora does) and set them directly to stuff instead of having to search the site, download each thing manually...

    ok.. nah.. like i said.. i didnt think it throught.. leave it just the way it is.. only thing needed would be to clear out the finish project after you save..

    or atleast an option asking would u like too clear it.. cuz ppl might use same art for diff things.. but a fresh start for new things would be nice.. instead of clearing it all manually..  ... and i've reached my max likes on here for the day.. hmm never occurred to me that could happen lol.. 

    and pulling the assets for games you dont have is cool.. as you could photoshop part of it.. then use it in the pack you are doing.. lol


  7. It's possible yes, i just need to think of how best to implement that :p do i extract TitleID from the filename? or do i store each filename in a separate object? choices... so many choices... (extracting TitleID adds another problem; what if the filename doesn't have a TitleID? (as in somebody renamed it, or simply saved it for some other purpose with a different name))

    Any ideas of how you would prefer having this? if i save each separately i wouldn't be able to use it as-is for mass-save, as each part have a different name, unless of course i just make it ask for the location, but then comes yet another bunch of problems; what if there is no file loaded before? and what if you want to load assets from one TitleID and store for another?

    Lot's of stuff to think about in those areas... if you have any suggestions, feel free to post 'em :) meanwhile i'm working on building a Xbox.com asset downloader, after that i'll probably add one for xboxunity aswell :)

    exactly that.. if i load a file.. and go to save it.. have it pop up a dialog(like you do with the mass save) with the ID there for verification, instead of just auto saving it directly.. no need to store stuff.. and it would do the same thing for no id/diff file names.. it will just pop up saying "would u like to use this ID/name"??? pretty simple i presume.. but i cant code for jack shit lmao.. and like i said.. just a suggestion.. how ever you decide to work it will do just fine.. lol (i think i might have been over analyzing on this one m8, and maybe it isnt neccessary.. i am tired ATM)[might need to scratch that idea all together lmao]

    only reason i suggested it.. was cuz i was making a templet for the emus.. and flipflopping had me all backwards.. had stuff from snes in genesis.. and what not.. the option would be for mostly mass editing, as single files will be easier.. and anyone SHOULDN'T confuse a single file.. lmao..

     

    OH also random feature to think.. when u save the completed work.. would it be possible to clear the tabs of the editor?? instead of assets still being loaded? not necessary.. but still might be helpful to the "less-attentioned-to-detailed" types..

    (sorry for my randomness.. but i am always down to kick ideas around the table lol)

    why arent xbox unity games sorted like on this page where u have link real time top 5?

    people go to xbox unity to check who and in which room is playing black ops 2 (and maybe 4 other games) and u have to search for it every single time.

     

    it would be much more convenient if it would be sorted descending by the field active link players.

    that is a horrible suggestion.. as the public rooms show you how many ppl are in them?? without visiting here?? waste of time and efforts spent on other things, but alas it is jmo

  9. That, and there are SEVERAL games.. usually 2 disk games.. that have that issue.. 1 TU for this ID, but the game your playing is that ID.. as it is normal!

    and from what i've read, there is episodes to that particular game.. which is why the launcher is 1 ID, and the rest are diff..? not really a professional answer.. but prolly why lol


  10. It's fast for his region, but not fast in general...

    It could be his router, it could also be his ISP... it's hard to say, but if you're both using the same TU that's not the issue atleast ;) My best advice would be to contact his ISP and ask them for support, if their service don't work as expected, they should offer assistance to fix the issue, of course, this particular issue is a little less likely that they'll help with, but if you tell them that you're trying to play online they should be able to help ;)

    as swizzy said.. ALSO.. even if you are on same TU.. is it the SAME media ID?? lmao.. simple oversight.. but pretty sure it needs to be the same also

    and why not try and create a game yourself and have him join?? ALSO.. try and make sure the TU is working correctly.. as Gav stated about the wifi downloading TU's, but not really downloading

  11. just tried out the new build.. awesome.. also.. would it be possible, to have it remember/save to original filename? for example i load in my XXxxXXxx file.. and it will save it to XXxxXXxx again? with only verification of the ID staying the same? as it would be easier than typing it all in.. or maybe not lol

    mass save works perfect btw!!

  12. I've implemented what you asked for, saving all assets in one go, feel free to try it out (it's on github, not going to make another release just yet, want to add more features first)

    I'm thinking maybe i should change the way the separate save thingies work so that they ask for TitleID and build the correct name?

    I just might.. I can't sleep anyways lmao.. You don't have to release anything yet.. But very good idea on asking for id so it saves it.. I pulled all my data off hdd and just clicked the original file to replace n save.. Your way seems much better lol, as ftp will ask to overwrite.. Hell you get the shit done quick.. I'm still trying to figure out the VS errors I was telling you about earlier lol


  13. I'll think of a good way to implement that during the day and fix it :) i've released it now tho as it is right now, any further updates will be towards 1.1+
