Probably what you need to do is install that R/W kit properly then write a clean image properly...
You can send me your Dump + CPUKey and i can tell you what's OK and not within it and/or make a image for you that'll work for your console...

You must've been downloading the source rather then the binary release, the binary release is built as a XDK application (meaning it has a default.xex) download this link:

You can format your memory devices without them breaking or your jtag somehow stopping to work yes (as long as it doesn't have RGLoader)
Doing this however will remove the HDDS of a retail Xbox 360 HDD meaning it will no longer work on a non-JTAG/RGH console

Do a manual update instead, using the method described here:
Make sure you read all the instructions... not sure if you have a 16MB or 4GB corona, 4GB Corona's are a little bit special with this method, but they're described there aswell...

The VM image i provided largely contain defaults for everything, security wasn't something i cared about when i made it as it was something i only used when working on libxenon stuff... and since it was a virtual machine very little damage could be done if somehow someone got into it while i had it running without me noticing...

Which are the ones available on gxarena, just more versions then just the latest, the su only one is a link to just the su file inside of the update zip archive

Or you can just tell grub to dump you into a recovery terminal... with that you can just use passwd instead of going the manual way

1 thread is quite enough thank you...
Which script are you talking about? the only one i remember writing is for removing titles from the database which are no longer present on your devices, and this script should work regardless of where you have Aurora installed and should also work with any configured path for games...

It means it failed to save parts of your data on that offset, which probably means you ran out of memory on the USB device you used to dump your nand... try another memory...
Also, a single thread is enough

Yes, it's because you have the FSD Plugin setup with "Start + Back" as the screenshot combination... either unload the FSD Plugin or change the screenshot combo

You're probably blocking outbound connections, make sure they're allowed on the ports

It's a known bug caused by a server problem with gxarena, i haven't really brought it up with OVH yet, but essentially they're blocking unknown clients

Nope, it hasn't been fixed, it's simply been restricted... that's not fixing his username visuals

You really shouldn't post your settings.db publicly, especially not if you've setup LiNK, my best guess without looking at the log is that you're scanning a XBE file?
There should also be a stacktrace alongside the crash log that helps narrow down the issue

Disable your antivirus software, it could potentially be corrupting the data...

Nope, it's only supported using Xbox 360 HDD's (slim, or phat don't matter)

Sadly, no, and chances are low that it'll happen as we're looking into possibly moving to a new forum suite

Try unloading the FSD Plugin, that may solve your problem

Every day there are fewer and fewer people playing
When it's ready it'll be released, not a minute before that...
It's not a walk in the park to do this, and we've had alot of bugs to fix etc, we're also working on Aurora at the same time and have other things to do (work, family etc.) be patient and it'll come when we're ready to release it =)

i have the same problem, but no more ideas....
i would really appreciate if someone could help me
i just updated my 360 slim, by generating a kernel update using xebuild GUI 2.098, without any problem. (plugged USb stick with proper data, boot on xell by eject button) and all is ok
I'm now in 17502, but i lost kinect.
And i'm unable to install system update
i already try :
- put $$ystemUpdate and $SystemUpdate on a usb stick, before and after booting
- disabling "noupdate" in FSD
- i don't find any "sysext" folder on my drives
- plug usb when in microsoft standart dashboard
- try with 2 different usb stick and directly with $$ystemUpdate and $SystemUpdate on the usb hard drive
=> i never see the update prompt
i have a 360 slim with RGH. i have an usb HDD and a usb stick
i think i have a 4gb internal "drive", but i'm not sure
i boot directly on FSD
Can someone help me ?
sorry for my english, i'm french :-)
Do you have XEXMenu installed? if so - try launching that, i've found that it helps to trigger the update prompt on newer dashboards...
It's also important that the update you're trying to install is of the same version as your consoles dashboard, a older version won't trigger the prompt, a newer version will fail to install

I believe this has already been done with custom skins, we're not likely to add it to the default skin tho...

2 hours ago, darblack said:I need your help. Since installing version 2.0.17511.0 for the xbox my 2 controls have faults. The 2 controls have the same faults with the boston X and the LB that it does not recognize when pressed long. The funny thing is that the same happens to the 2 controls, one is wireless and the other is wireless. In what you can guide me I thank you.
Make the controls work fine by doing this.
Run Simple 360 NAND Flasher and then exited the program by pressing the B button. This way the control error was solved but if I turn off the console and restart it again the error appears. Will it be a problem with the DashLauncher ?? I use DashLauncher version 3.18.1
That has nothing to do with dashlaunch, unless you're using a third party plugin, those may interfere with things they're not supposed to... disable all plugins and try again...
and please, don't cross-post, it's annoying as hell, post your question where you believe it makes the most sense and wait, posting in multiple forum sections with the exact same thing doesn't add anything except to the annoyance level of me and the other forum admins/moderators, and probably our other members aswell...

I believe it was moved with 0.6b to "UserContent\Backgrounds\"
Aurora 0.7b - Feature Preview
in Aurora releases
Posted
The video was made on a XDK, not a Retail console, that's why Dashlaunch isn't active and why you see "Xbox Home", the plugin isn't overriding the HUD...
