Can't edit the contents of a file in Horizon. HELP

Recently i've been trying to make custom new skins for different homebrew apps like XeX menu but i came across a little problem, and it's that i cant edit(Insert a new file, replace and rename) files with Horizon, i can only Extract files, all other options are greyed out. Can someone help me? Is there other Program that can do the same thing? Btw i've also tried Re-installing Horizon, same thing. (Sorry for any english mistakes)
