saywaking 289 Posted December 18, 2014 Hi Im not sure if its already there but when we used Freestyle we could not pause running downloads. Everytime we start a new game the downloads get corrupt and are not downloaded or finished. Is it possible to make Aurora save the current 'running downloads' and continue afterwards when we are back in Dash? The saving should be only done when there is some process. It would be also good to have a download manager in the hud so we dont have to pause stuff but we already talked about that and it is not possible but this pausing idea would be a good alternative for the moment. Thanks
Swizzy 2084 Posted December 18, 2014 It's possible, but... Aurora doesn't save it until it's done... if anything gets corrupted, just refresh it and voila!
saywaking 289 Posted December 18, 2014 I know. Thats the problem why things get corrupted. Unfinished downloads should be continueable or discarded to redownload. Is it possible right now or maybe in future? It's still unclear
Swizzy 2084 Posted December 18, 2014 It shouldn't save the state of it as "done" until it's actually done, so... any missing data should be downloaded using the "Download Missing Assets" function, if it doesn't download for a specific game, just do a manual refresh of that title... all of this is possible right now in 0.4b, it's been there since 0.1a afaik... saywaking 289 Posted December 18, 2014 People want to save time. They want to have all automatically. We have the ability to download items. These can be TUs, screenshots, covers and maybe other stuff in future. They get in queue and this is not simply done by clicking download missing assets. The purpose of this thread is to hint you to save a state of the que when you exit Aurora in anyway. You already do it with the customized views. We can already save the state of filters. Im not sure what the plan is but i would want to do it better than before. And better than yesterday.
