Obveron 6 Posted December 28, 2012 Hi there, justy wondering if anyone knows a way to build a FSD shortcut that starts xell with a short script to start an app? this would be so much better than booting with eject and loading the game manually. Is there something I'm not aware of that you all are using to quick start specific libxenon homebrew from FSD?
mthodmn101 0 Posted December 28, 2012 use dashlaunch... it can launch elfs
robins 5 Posted December 28, 2012 sure you can. there is an xelllaunch xex in the xell folder, all you need is to rename xell-2f.bin to xell.bin and put it to the same folder of xelllaunch xex. set it to the scan path and then you know what to do... that's how i run libxenon homebrew like mplayer thru FSD. and if you want FSD to display the exact homebrew that will run thru xell, rename xell and add custom icon/screenshot/banner to it with webui. Obveron 6 Posted December 31, 2012 Thanks for the replies guys. I'd rather not have to start dashlaunch to boot an elf. Robins so do have to keep the elf ready to go on a usb, when you start xell launch? Is there a way to keep the elfs on the internal harddrive and make xell launch shortcuts to specific elfs?
