RGH console wont load Live profiles from USB in Aurora/FSD

Recommended Posts

I have a RGH trinity that will not load any Live based profiles from USB. This is really perplexing me!!

I have had quite a few consoles over the years and when i had phat consoles, i could move my live profile onto a USB, then load it on my RGH to play live arcade games etc. No issues whatseover

made myself a new trinity with CR4 XL, and it works flawlessly with profiles that i create on it (JTAG based not for live)

but when i am in Aurora or FSD and go to sign in my live profile, it just closes the sign in window and doesnt load the profile.

If i exit to official m$ dash, the profile will load, but that is a real pain in the arse, and i dont see why it wont load in either Aurora or FSD.

Anyone have any idea why this would be happening?

ive tried messing with all the dashlaunch settings with no success.

few things to be noted with this console, it came to me with no dvd drive, so i have put a new drive in and patched the nand in xebuild settings with a donor drive key.

I am running the latest dash 17502, and have installed avatar update. i can edit and see my avatar on official dash.

when i create a clean freebot nand and go to install dashlaunch it says that it needs to be updated, even though it shouldnt be there, i suspect that thIs might be the issue but cant understand why a clean NAND woulod have dashlaunch already installed.

What tool are you using to build your nand image?

i am using Jrunner, but a version that i got from the net that supported 17502 dashboard, do you think that might be the issue?

i will try using xebuild and see if that has any success.

I built a new dash using the latest xebuild, and it worked a treat.

Did not realise that the Jrunner might be the issue as the image worked fine otherwise.

J-runner now deleted and will stick with the xebuild from now on.

Many thanks!!

Most issues seem to stem from the use of unofficial releases (such as the one you mentioned, or "xeBuild GUI 2.09# (#####)" where they basically repackage it with unofficial patches made by some random guy wanting to be the first more often then not releasing before having things tested properly...
