Black screen issues

Recommended Posts

Okay I don't know if this is the right area for this but I have a zephyr jtag and I tried putting a patch on it, when I went into the patch my screen turned black and I restarted it, and it doesn't show any picture. It won't let me in xell either. McCann someone tell me what's wrong with my jtag and how to fix it

Well, what patch did you do? perhaps you installed a patch causing the console not to boot at all anymore?

Dump your nand, rebuild it and flash it... that's probably going to fix your issue... (this requires you to get a hardware flasher like NAND-X, JR-Programmer or similar)

What you need exactly depends on your console model and what hardware flasher you'll be using...

Most hardware is compatible with nandpro, but JR-Programmer is not...

Most consoles are also compatible with the above mentioned hardware flashers (NAND-X, JR-Programmer) if you have a MMC Corona (4GB corona) you'll be needing a MMC card reader and stuff to connect it to that... (this also requires that you use something like nandMMC or a hexeditor with support for device editing)

Not sure how you applied that patch? could you link me to the instructions you read on how to use it? and where you got it from?
