FSD/Dashlaunch Installed but no boot to FSD after box turned off

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

If you could help Id appreciate it.

FSD 3.0 and Dash Launch 3.02

So, HDD (External drive) only has folders Content/Emulation/Homebrew

I start the xbox with disc containing FSD launcher

I install FSD 3 (ticked) and Dashlaunch (ticked) (Path set to FreeStyle)

I press continue and it boots into Dash launch

Board Falcon/Flash Falcon/Type Glitch/ Kernel 2.0.16547.0

I exit out of dash launch after making no changes. Ethernet cable not connected up to this point.

I exit out of dash launch and it goes straight to retail xbox dash (Profile creater etc)

I turn off xbox and boot presing guide or power button and it still goes to retail dash.

Can anyone tell me where I'm going wrong please?

Launch.ini file reads as follows:

[QuickLaunchButtons]
Default = usb:\FreeStyle\default.xex
[settings]
nxemini = true
pingpatch = true

Thanks for your time :thumbup:

Get dashlaunch 3.11 or 3.12 and it'll work ;)

Next time; try reading the readme, or look for a newer version...

Thank you for your advice, I did try all sorts, but putting things into practice can be a little tedious for an old man like me :blushing:

I've installed Dashlaunch 3.12 and it works a treat. I hadn't realised that thee wee more after 3.10 which was what I'd previously tried.

Its been a long time since I have dealt with this sort of thing,......my first computer was a ZX81 back in the day....... :unsure:

Thanks again for your help :thumbsup:
