GTA5 Safe to play offline ?

So i read that if u play GTA 5 before 17 sept u will get banned. But can i create a dummy/offline profile and play on that w/o a ban? Also, will it somehow affect my real profile if i decide to nand and play live after few months ? - will i get auto banned by tracing achievments that were earned on the offline profile ?

Ban and Console ban for pre-release games - that's the latest punishment

 

If your going to play it on a "Live console", disconnect it from the internet, use an offline profile, cut the power off to it (unplug the mains) and plug it back in so the time is reset. This is your safest method.

 

 

And no it won't affect your live profile. Will this game leave a time stamp on the console, its not known.

 

Your safest, safest method - wait. You waited this long, you can wait a few more days.

 

 

Don't try to be a show off to your friends list, it will just get you banned, as for those who are already doing it, they'll be banned in the coming week.
