Aurora 0.7b2 Downloads getting stuck?

Recommended Posts

Hello All,

Is anyone else having trouble downloading assets like game covers and title updates?

I'm figuring out that if I press start and chose to download assets it starts and then just hangs up and never goes anywhere.

I found I can restart Aurora and try again and get a little further, each time, rinse and repeat until all title covers are showing.

I was able to get all my covers downloaded but title updates have been a nightmare, often times they fail after a long wait some manage to download and are noticing specifically the smaller ones. is seems related to size of the TU?

Take call of duty ghosts for example 137.7MB wont download

Guitar Hero 3 works but it's only 1.0MB

Any help would be appreciated

(Solved)

First part:

Preforming Nova link verification within Aurora worked.

Steps to do this test, press start, go to modules, the press RB then verify.

Mine said "Data port reachable (Failed)" and "Broadcast Port reachable (Failed)"

forwarding the ports in my router and repreforming the test worked in the sense it allowed all title covers to download, but the title updates still would get stuck.

Second part:

Reason as to why I could not download title updates before and they were getting stuck, standard Xbox 360 dashboard showed that I was using ethernet, but when I unplugged the cable it showed the Wi-Fi was connected to my network as shown in my router dashboard it was like two things were connected at once, it was until I disconnected from the Wi-fi network on xbox and plugged the ethernet cable back in did everything work. I did unplug the cable once more to check that the Wi-Fi didn't reconnected as there was no forget network option, and can download the title updates I wasn't able to before without issue.
