  1. Hi,

     

    we know that DLCs and Arcade's, manually downloaded TU's mostly have to be in the content area.

    But manytimes we ask which title ID, which folder Number that file has to go into.

     

    Would it not be great to have the option to click on "install file into content" and let Aurora do the job ?!

    (Analyze file, get Title ID, move file to the specific folder)

    The files already have all the informations that the file/ installation manager would have to know.

    This is of course for "network scans" (connectX) and USBs the case, as we already could put the files via ftp into the right folder if we have the informations we need, which takes time to retrieve.

     

    As you may know, these situations can be really annoying, when you have to put all stuff into the folders you don't remember anymore. (Or bad sources)

    Organization is really important. Even path problems could be solved with this, because it's always installed in the same/ right way.

     

    I would not set this as prior, but it would be a really nice new feature to the next Dashboard Aurora.

  2. The HUD has limited memory reserved. But i like the idea, as it wont happen.

    It would be simplier to link the certain file endings with the certain emulators.

    E.G. .snes would be shown in the gamelists, and when you click on it, an emulator launcher starts.

    But still it wont happen, its unnecessary work, as we have the games working. Its like requesting the Temperature Feature while it's already there. We need more important things right now and set priorites and don't bombard these guys with requests.

  3. I use it for all of my games, the load times are 3 to 5 times longer then usual but I like that I can store all my BACKUPS on one drive and access it easily from the different consoles I have around the house. It actually works well for me.

    Now i got to try :D

    but when aurora does support it

    Along with other TU suggestions http://www.realmodscene.com/index.php?/topic/3691-requestsuggestion-check-for-new-tu-when-launching-a-game/#entry27727 i want to suggest a helpful Idea.

    It would be really cool to have the possibilty to manage a download queue, pause and continue downloads. (For the Plugin in the HUD, just like xbox live) We have several TUs that are really big, which leads to wait for finishing and if you launch a game you have to download again and the game may crash because it did not download full.

    I hope it could be done as it is much appreciated

  5. Select your title update on the website, push to xbox, and it'll show up in your Title Update List when complete.

    Note: To match title updates you need to know the title id/game name as well as the base version of the game. You can see that information in the Game Details -> Select Subtitle in Aurora and on the website's TU selection.

    So The Push means, we have to let the Xbox run in the background while we click on Pushing or is there a download queue ? Did not manage it, or i did something wrong, as i can't see any progress, which would be good to see (xnotify popup and Status update)


  6. I really like the PUSH feature of Unity. The main problem is, while you are working on PC and want to push some "Title Updates, Screenshots, Artworks, Synopsys or whatever" you have to know the Media ID (Well its morelikely for Title Updates)

    Solution :

    - A List of Gameinformation (List of all games Your database in Aurora has, with all Subtitle Information)  for the WebGui and anotherone pushed for the private unity accountdb for external online situations. I think this can be done very easily and the WebGui would become more useful.

    Cant think of arguments against it right now. Im looking forward for simple and good ideas

    as we all know we have a "hidden" Quicklauncher always with the HUD -> the filebrowser

     

    with the current WebGUI we can click on "launcher" to launch f3

    -It would be cool to choose the xex file to launch from WebGui

    -also editing covers and Dashlaunch settings would becool

    -maybe live stream/ recording of a 30sec snipped or something ? Or as plugin ? dunno if this would be possible via network


  8. Skin files can only be loaded once and if you load a Skin file with a 'Prefix' then you have to make sure there are no name conflicts...etc...etc...etc.

    Another Reason to ask why you guys released XUI Workshop , if we all use the famous LiNK PlugIn and would never be able to modify nor create a parallel working app, except we are no consumers but Homebrew devs.

     

    One thing we do intend on doing is opening up LUA at the boot of Aurora- and giving LUA access to some internal libraries so you can have specific scripts that run at boot- and possibly at a later time. The scripts can do everything from clean up the database, to reorganize content, to download information from external sites and add new titles/descriptions to games... possibilities are endless there.

    Great Idea, already expected it :)

    Im just curious why this language. Looks like i have to research and learn it. I expect more objects to access in the next releases.
