Thanks... 1. I will update the dash/kernel, I'm two versions behind. 2. I don't know what an F3 plugin is. So I doubt that I have it loaded or even installed. 3. I don't know what dashlaunch plugins are so again, I doubt there are any there.

EVer since I updated to the latest version of FSD, whenever I tell the console to shut down, the fan stays on and the light on the front glows every few seconds like the system is in standby instead of having been turned off. Does anyone know how to change that? I looked through the FSD settings and couldn't find anything. Thanks!

RGH, FSD3, off internal HDD, not the latest dashboard. Is anyone else having a crash in the very first mission in Murdered? Basically right after encountering the first demon, I try to keep moving up the stairs and it looks like it wants to go to a cut scene and it crashes back to the dashboard.

These were games I had downloaded as ISOs and didn't delete anything from them. Ok, nevermind then. I'll just back it up as the extracted version I had on my 360HDD.

I've got some games that I took off my rgh HDD back onto my PC and I want to save them back onto disc. Is there some special way to burn them back as a 360 disc? I suppose I could just burn them as data discs for copying later but I like the idea of them being playable off a disc in the future. Thanks!

I'm on 16547. Are the last two 16747 and 16756 necessary? I just installed Watch Dogs on my rgh and had no problem with still running 16547 but maybe that game just doesn't ask for the new updates even though it only came out a week ago?

I've thought about that, but I have that HDD set to go into sleep mode when it's not in use and I always thought it would just dealy the game or not work at all for that reason.

I don't think that works for ripping music to the HDD for use in games. I think for that the only solution is a physical disc.

I suppose CDRW work fine. I don't want to waste my high quality CDRs for the 3 tracks I need.

Has a solution not been figured out to get music on the 360 without burning a disc? I can't believe that's still the only way. Forgive me if I'm missing it, but I did a search and came up with nothing. Thanks!

So, I should be updating the dash and fsd right? See, I really want to be able to understand all this and how to do it. But I always feel like I'm sitting wondering, "is there a newer dash I should be on? Is my fsd out of date?" etc etc

Hello, (sorry if this is in the wrong topic) I bought my 360 rgh'ed two years ago. I haven't done any updates so I feel like there must be something I can do to keep it up to date. Also, a game (Thief) isn't loading and it looks like it's because it needs to be on the latest dash. Or so I've been told. I have been reading for hours about this and it seems like there are lots of different ways, lots of different methods, etc. If someone could help me with the following I'd really appreciate it... 1. How do I determine what FSD version I'm on? I guess the dash version is in System settings in the MS dash. 2. Where do I get any newer version of FSD from? 3. Is there a universally accepted way of updating my dash with an rgh if, in fact, that is what I need to be doing to get this game to run? 4. Why is the weather unable to work in FSD? Is that a known thing or is it just me? THANK YOU for any and all help!

Thank you. Not sure what you mean by "type". As I said, I'm transferring (via Filezilla) from my PC. Don't know where this "type" option is. I think I totally messed up the HDDX instruction. Any idea how to uninstall what went to HDD1 instead?

Just a quick couple of questions that have me baffled. I'd love some help. 1. I FTP a 360 game over to the folder I have set up for my 360 titles on the internal HDD and they always show up in my XBOX Live titles on FSD and not in my 360 Titles after I rescan the drive. Why is this happening? 2. After having installed an application to help with backwards compatibility of original xbox titles, my XBOX Live titles FSD browser is full of useless "titles" that get in the way of seeing the ACTUAL Live Arcade titles. Can these be hidden or am I doing something wrong? Any help would be awesome.

For the moment it's for 007 Nightfire. But eventually, for other games. I just never asked the guy who did the rgh for me if he had installed the XBOX1 emulator and when I tried to copy Nightfire to the hdd it won't load. I thought the point of the emulator was to play EVERYthing even beyond the bw compatibility of the 360. Anyway, I kept and still have my modded XBOX1 but I was hoping to do all the MS gaming on the 360. Now, how to find out if my XBOX1 games will load on my modded XBOX1. There's gotta be a list out there for that. Thanks for the file.

What I need to know is...1. whether there is a process which makes XBOX1 emulation possible on the 360 so that all games are possible OUTSIDE of the titles that the 360 was backwards compatible with.2. if there is a process, how to know if that was installed on my 360 when I had it rgh'ed. If there is NO other way other than the stock backwards compatibility to play XBOX1 games, then the only thing I want to know is if they'll play from the internal HDD.

Just curious, I had my RGH set up and installed by someone online. Is there a definitive way to know if it has been treated to run XBOX1 backups from the HDD? As I don't know, the process, I don't know what I'm looking for. All I know is that installing via FSD's disc ripping function didn't run the game. Thanks.
