  1. The disc drive reads all games on both nands but it's just that problem of it needing to be unplugged for Xell to fully boot (common problem with Hitatchi's apparently) and it not being able to play burned games. Also it does this strange auto eject problem where at random times it just tries to eject but the door doesn't actually open. (Hate Hitachi's) would it be possibly to flash up a BenQ or liteon and replace it? I have a few of those kicking around.
  2. Fine. I'll try. So many back and fourths. I'm going to need different timing files for RGH2 wiring correct? Could you please provide a link? Nope, no need for RGH2 after all. I replaced some wiring with Ethernet cable (courtesy of Gavin) and now she boots up both nands! Thanks for the help Gavin! Edit: Please dont perform Double postings. If you want to add information, edit your last posting and use the edit function. Dr.Gonzo
  3. Everyone keeps telling me to do different things. I had it wired up for RGH 2 but Gavin told me to forget that and stick with 1.2 because it will have better results. I trust him because he got the stock nand working again. This is a 08 falcon. Even if I got it to work with RGH 2 wiring it would have the longest boot times out of any method.
  4. We're good from stock nand. I'll mess with the wiring for the Demon later in the week most likely because I think that's what the problem is.
  5. The stock nand needs updated in order to be used no Xbox Live. Is it safe to do so from the xbox now?
  6. Is there any more CPU_RST points besides the two that we tried?
  7. Also I don't know if the stock nand even got to fully update to the newest dash since it turned off. Will do.
  8. Jrunner wont let me select the dash version and I tried downloaded it from the internet before and putting it in the folder but it still doesn't show on jrunner. Before the mess up the DemoN nand had the second to newest dash and the stock had the old nxe dash with the blue guide. Lol, maybe you could just remote into my computer and mess with this
  9. I waited a long time. I don't know. Maybe I messed something up on jrunner prior or just aren't doing something right. A wire being removed does absolutely nothing.
  10. I don't know if I'm missing something or what. Maybe there's something on the computer end that I'm not doing correctly.
  11. I tried all of them. They all just do something slightly different but all end up having the fans throttle.
  12. No Xell. Just 5 second throttling at the same time that the green light flashes a couple times. Maybe I didn't re-write the nand correctly? I used the original and changed it to a rgh 2 and also used the timing files you told me to.
  13. I tried different timing files and all they seem to do is make the green light pulse differently or the speed of the throttling increase or decrease. I haven't been able to get it to boot. Do I need to move ahead on looking at repairing the stock side now to get it functional?
  14. I put everything back and moved it to Ft6u1 and now the light on the green light cool runner blinks twice every 10 seconds. The fans still throttle.
  15. So is postout 0 really on the top of the board connected to that capacitor in that link that you sent me? I just want to make sure I get the wire in the correct spot. Can you tell me what the point that it needs to be soldered to says on the board? Ex. FT6U7
  16. Ok. I'll do that. What's wrong with the RGH 2 though? Does RGH 1.2 just perform the best?
  17. Well I found the guide for the RGH 2 with coolrunner. It didn't call for the yellow wire to be moved but rather E and F to be added and A removed. I did that and tried reflashing the nand with Jrunner for RGH 2 but it's still doing the same thing. I also tried reprogramming the Coolrunner with no success, still the fan throttling problem. Where do those Timing files go inside of Jrunner? Thanks.
  18. I thought all I had to do was change around the wire for C and then do the re-writing for the coolrunner. could someone please provide a link to where the wires need to be? I searched on google and can't find anything for the rgh1.2 xecuter demon wiring.
  19. I figured there isn't much use in asking where I should move the wires to when you don't really know, so I decided to attach some photos.
  20. I got it taken apart and the yellow C wire is connected to FT6U7. What point do I have to solder that wire to?
  21. It was the opposite actually. I wanted to update the stock nand so I could use xbox live on only one console, that was a part of wanting the duel nand system, but when the person who did it gave it to me, they had a really old dash on the stock nand side. I asked someone on the xecuter forums how to update it and they just said to do it normally which resulted in all the problems I'm facing now. Also E and F have nothing soldered to them. I'll try doing what you said.
  22. Yes I can solder. Well I removed the C point which seems to have done nothing at all. what change am I looking for exactly? Should I remove each wire and if nothing changes solder it back on and move to the next?
  23. By software 1.2 I'm assuming you mean re-write it using Glitch 2? None the less I tried that and now it does the same thing it was before, except the green light on the DemoN flashes with the fans throttling. I probably should have mentioned I'm a noob and this is all quite difficult for me. That's why I offered to send someone my nand dumps so they could do it for me or possibly remote into my computer.
