  1. No need i can answer it gonzo.

Coinops is only for the original it will not work on or ever be ported to the 360.If you want coin-ops get an original xbox or get hold of the pc version of old games that's run in their respective emu's

there is a post somewhere on coinops that says why it will never happen; can't remember if its to do with the orig xbox being a pc or the fact coin is an emu which would require running an emu (coin) inside an emu (360's emu) while attempting to launch a game, where's the ram & cpu power going to come from

  2. I have same problem with battle field 3

Sent from my SM-A9000 using Tapatalk

You want help with non working game start your own thread as it will be considered hijacking. Also you can help yourself by following numerous tuts on how to get b3 working,as i seem to recall there was content required to get it running from the 2nd disc

  3. Would work out far cheaper to get another,as there's no knowing if the cause is from fiddling with it or a coincidence & it was on it's way out..just my 5 cents..that's American cents converted from NZ..

  4. Your first cover in the images above can be changed to make the paste slimmer (the top part of the spine goes outside & into the rear & front of the cover)

with the original cover open in paint, select the paste option & navigate to the cropped piece of spine, once selected it will appear on the paint canvas you then draw in the crop by using the markers in the dotted line to resize before saving.Doing so ,you should be able to get it so it doesn't extend over the cover front & rear..does any of that make sense

  5. Untick the fan speed option & then the sliders on the left can be adjusted manually to set the desired auto temp in the dashlaunch app.i think you have to save before exiting as well

  6. Those temps would be imo about average however i would prefer to get lower still by as much as poss. The fan speed is irrelevant as you should be using auto temp option, this will increase/decrease fan speed depending on target temp setting

Can't remember off hand what my settings are however the range below is my optimum across all my 360 jtag's

    processor 45-50 degrees C

    graphics 45-40

    memory 40-35

  7. but idk if i will get banned

that right there is priceless.Well i ask myself why would you even ask that question,it suggests you already know the answer & by some miracle was hoping there was a way, even tho all topics regarding live (which number in the millions) all say the same thing including this website "using a modded console on live will get you a ban".

    @swizzy

your a saint with the patience your showing your obviously getting mellow in your old age which is why your a mod & i'm not,coz the older i get the more aggressive i've become,"hold me back !"  "hold me back !"   >>badass smiley goes here<<

  8. You wanted to quote & transfer an answer you saw to a similar issue in another thread which is fine, perhaps even attribute the quote to the original poster. All i was saying was copy/paste or write what you saw (assuming you could remember it all) & then provide a link to the thread as there may be other fixes in that thread if the option you give doesn't work.

There are also going to be times when months go by & someone has an issue & you've seen a post that has the fix, problem is you can't remember where it was,so you answer the best you can & then say something like i have done in similar circumstances & i quote:

"i saw it posted round here somewhere"

& then tell them to search (in my post above i replaced the word "search" for the term "leg work") the forum for the thread that may help the OP.

with any luck my original post will now make more sense..lol

  9. In a situation like this i'll post a bit of what is required to answer the question from whoever i remembered it from then link to the post or thread if i can remember where i saw it.Or i'll just say i saw it posted round here somewhere & let the person who wants an answer to do the leg work

  10. First off don't damage or delete any partitions or data especially on C until you've recovered the eeprom

Cloning can be done from the xbox using the appropriate tools

Cloning from a pc usually gets the partitions wrong i think the data doesn't transfer, however i can't remember what did get transferred when i attempted it.So if you want to try you must use sector by sector clone. Can't remember if drive must be the same size or whether the clone program allows resizing to larger drive

Your best bet is the link below as it's an active site for the old girl

    http://www.theisozone.com/l

You'll most probably find a soft mod would be better than leaving it stock, tho i prefer hard mods for reliability.Doing so gives more options & you can install coinOPS (it's free & has 3000 + games & it'll give it an extra selling point). You'll need to mod it if you can't recover the files on C

If you make a post over at iso provide a link here,i have quite a bit of software for soft & hardmodding you may need if you can't find any & i have coinOPS if you want it

edit: largest hdd once modded that you can fit is 2tb (either 2.5" or 3),you can use the new 1.3 xbox partitioner to avoid the issues of the old versions
