Thanks Swizzy mate, will have a check, asked him to look and I'll let you know...we have a problem with Aurora crashing but this isn't the right thread for that so will go and post in the correct section.
The compatibility pack that I got was the
Compatibility Pack + TU 01 obrigatória para pode jogar Call Of Duty Black Ops 3 -
as far as i know, i used the same one that got me up and running.
let me check what they were..and i'll come back to you

yeah it says " \device\Mass0\
now when I ftp in and grab it it's not the same as what I'm reading/saving on screen in installer.
.....now I can't get to installer unless default holding x when booting, no apps found under homebrew any more...even if i add the direct path to default xex of installer and scan it's still not found .......don't know what's going on with this machine.
maybe it is, just noticed aurora a little further down...shucks...well here it is; launch.xex V3.0 config file; parsed by simpleIni http://code.jellycan.com/simpleini/; currently supported devices and paths:; internal hard disk Hdd:\; usb memory stick Usb:\; memory unit Mu:\; USB memory unit UsbMu:\; big block NAND mu FlashMu:\; internal slim 4G mu IntMu:\; internal corona 4g mu MmcMu:\; CD/DVD Dvd:\ (not recommended to use this one); buttons can point to any xex, or any CON with default.xex in it on any of the above devices; note that Right Bumper is ALWAYS default to return NXE; if you want to assign an additional one, use the path Sfc:\dash.xex ie:; BUT_A = Sfc:\dash.xex; all comments and fields in this file are optional, you can remove anything you don't need; sorry for any double negatives; njoy, cOz; example entry; Default = Hdd:\FreeStyle\default.xex[Paths]BUT_A = Hdd:\freestyle1\default.xexBUT_B =BUT_X = Hdd:\Content\0000000000000000\C0DE9999\00080000\C0DE99990F586558BUT_Y =Start =Back =LBump =RThumb =LThumb =; Default is what loads when you hold no buttons; leave this blank if you want NXE as defaultDefault = Hdd:\aurara1\Aurora.xex; at boot time, default can be overridden based on how the console is turned on; if you start with wired/wireless/IR guide button, this item if existing will be used instead of default; note that the Guide item is ALWAYS overridden by option: remotenxe = trueGuide =; if you power on with the button on the front of the console (or the power button on a remote if remotenxe is not set to true); this item will be used instead of defaultPower =; if set, going to system settings from HUD will run this app, override with Right BumperConfigapp =; if set, this will be run as a title before any other option occurs, does not get circumvented by held buttons or default; guide/power opts are processed after this; intended for a short video player to allow replacing bootanimFakeanim =; by default this only dumps to UART, setting a file here will cause unhandled exception info to be dumped; as text to a file. Same path restraints as the quick launch buttons.; if exchandler is set to false, this option does nothing.; note that this uses the first drive of the class found, so if you use usb: and have more than one usb device; it may wind up on any of the usb devices depending on which was enumerated first. The path for the file is only; checked on boot, so the device must be present at power on and at crash time for this to be effective; ie: dumpfile = Usb:\crashlog.txtDumpfile =; example plugin entry; if not present default is FALSEfatalreboot = false; setting this to true will cause the box to reboot (soft reboot) the way it was intended to; on jtag ONLY set this to true if using blackaddr's reboot fix for SMC, else on reboot you will get E71 and corrupted dash/video/etc settings; if not present default is TRUEsafereboot = true; when set to true, it is possible to hold RB when launching a game to have the region that the game gets from xam spoofed; if not present this is set to FALSEregionspoof = true; O_O Never new that about the launch.ini on flash, good job it didn't then, was wondering how it got there as never stored any thing on the flash.
Yeah, know about 1 being read, but it's supposed to be reading the one from the USB drive, the one that when I go to installer has different settings than when I grab it via FTP and then read it.
Confused.....
-
yeah thanks got it.
-
I'd been reading that you can push from the server and was expecting it all to download after I'd logged in to the site, how ever they all downloaded any way when I was scanning media so happy days and thanks. think they come from the unity servers don't they?
-
now my heads hurting, my launch.ini is saved on the usb and when I FTP and grab it and read it back the ini says
BUT_A = Hdd:\freestyle1\default.xexBUT_B =BUT_X = Hdd:\Content\0000000000000000\C0DE9999\00080000\C0DE99990F586558BUT_Y =Start =Back =LBump =RThumb =LThumb =which is not the case, as I have removed the old FSD and when i check it in installer then it's all correct and aurora is set to load and it does.
what's going on here...?
hmm...there's a launch.ini on my flash! omg! can't seem to delete it...
-
-
where do you change the aurora setting? can't find it...
ooops got it.....
oh and matey, awesome skin it, man, nice !!!

seems to be working now and have Aurora default and FSD as "A" if i need it, strange though, maybe a few restarts and that sorted it.
xex menu will not load defo though, can't change the theme in the standard menu as well, oh well not the end of the world
ahhh man, can't get into storage devics either!?!?!
-
I would download it all again. Its very quick and easy.
how do you do it via unity?
Thanks
-
ok chaps, all done, couple of issues.
I've set in dashlaunch for the default aurora to load and it does when I boot the machine, when I select the middle button and "go back to freestyle home" it just of course takes me back to the old dash, freestyle....
one more, when I'm in "my games" I can't load xex.menu any more, just get a spinning wheel, got to load it via FSD....
-
Hey guys,
Been a while since I've been around, you know how life is sometimes.
So yeah, can I go from FSD straight to aurora...is it as easy as the FSD installs etc. (FTP etc.)
I'll do my nand first and all of that of course.
...and is online available?

was your drive flashed and are these backups your playing or originals..?
-
no, the official one is SystemUpdate_16756_USB.zip, you want 16747....as per Swizzy's post earlier on in this thread, and my message "use the correct dashboard for your version"
-
funky colors there dude in your post...
-
for a quick fix, make a folder called $ystemupdate and also a folder called $$ystemupdate. copy the files into them and then try to launch a game etc. or try plugging the USB key into the machine when your on the "stock" metro dashboard.Use the correct dashboard for your version. -

lol...enjoy...
LT flashed, well yeah they all know what were doing bro.....
bans, they haven't been round for a while.....so what, you get banned, you buy a new console.
the dollars that you have saved, you can afford it.

take a step back and have a look at the bigger picture.
I make a system, and you connect to it, I want to know who's connecting and since I wrote the system in the first place then I'd like to know the "ins and outs" you see where I'm coming from...? I'd like to know what people are doing with it, the times they play, the games the play and since I "made" the system in the first place then I have that information to hand, after all your connecting to "my" server....
Since it's mysql and the like, database and stuff then all I have to do is write a simple query.....
greater than, more than, equal too, less than.... in a blink of an eye I have every profile that's ever been hacked, tampered with or flashed....
I won't get started but the last ban, 2006 I think it was, clever marketing, just before forza 4 or 3 I think it was, how ever, xbox sales had slumped, I think the ps3 had been released, soooo, ban the people with the flashed drives, after all the top games were out, forza and cod........but wait, why don't we just ban the console, that way keeping there online id and score and achievements, putting a carrot in front of the donkey.......what did we all do? we all went out and got our selves a new console and logged back in to recover our gamer tags to play the new forza or COD...... xbox sales went through the roof......after all, we only had the console banned. OK we had to start from scratch but it was worth it to blaze around the track in a skyline at 400mph
If "they" had banned the profile etc. then I might not have bothered, but all them lovely achievements.! I wanted them back...and so did 500,000 others!
clever marketing. half a million consoles banned, and a good chance that 450 million would rush out and buy a new one. (apart from all the losers that said they'd hop onto the psn and fuc* m$, ha, they got caught and didn't pay any respect to the fact they'd saved $100 on games in the past.....they spit the dummy out and I bet you most of them came back)....see makes sense don't it....450,000 times $200 usd... = shed loads of income
But that's just the tip of my conspiracy theories .... don't get me started on C4eva
-
Thought I'd just start a random and stuff.....you know how it is......
There's a little bit of "mustang wanted" and also "James Kingston" the main man from the UK

Aurora Crashing on Loading Games, Any log files?
in Aurora support
Posted
Hello,
I mentioned this is another thread about tu's but thought I'd post in the correct section as that was to do with title updates.
Is there any log files anywhere that can help decide on why it's crashing on game launch.
It's been installed on a mates machine and when he starts a game, borderlands etc. then it just kicks him back to the dashboard. it's a carbon copy of how my machine is set up (so he says and he's never touched anything...lol)
Thanks
