It is? Excellent! Can you please show me how I'd do that?

I installed Genesis Plus 360 on my hard drive tonight, but Unity wants to give it a "Super Nintendo" cover. How do I fix this?
The title ID is 0001039.

Can't find any data in the link www.realmodscene.com/xbins/ any more. What gives? I really enjoyed having everything catetorized and in a folder tree order.
Where else can I find a similar mirror?
-
Never mind. Rebooting corrected the issue.

When I used to click on Freestyle Home in the guide menu, it would load Aurora. On my latest slim with 1tb hdd, its not working, it jusr goes to FSD. What do I need to change to get it working correctly?
Also, can I change the guide entry to make it say "Aurora Home" ?

I might be interested in buying your whole kit. PM me with what you've got in total and maybe we'll be able to work something out.
Thanks!

Nothing? Am I lowballing too much?

I was hoping to stay in the $25 range, but I'm open to whatever is available.

Anyone got an x360usb Pro laying around that they're not going to use any more. I just stumbled on 3 phat consoles all with LiteOn drives and I'd like to flash them.

I apologize if this question has already been asked, but I can't seem to find a way to add the "Emulators" genre to my dashboard. Can someone help me to get this set up so I can add Emulators to that section?
Thanks!

Also, wait until your controller is synced up, then press and hold the button you wish to boot... it takes a bit of practice to get it right when it's from launch, otherwise... exit out of Aurora (using the guide menu) and press and hold the button straight after accepting the "exit game" dialog
That's probably what the issue is. I was used to exiting using the xbox button and exiting that way.
I'll re-test....

I've set button 'A' to launch F3 and button 'X' to launch Dashlaunch in my Dash Launch setup, but no matter what button I hit, Aurora loads. How do I fix this?

I've successfully edited both the database (using an SQL editor) and the coverart asset files (using the asset editor) to make some changes I was looking for. For some reason my Genesis 360 emulator was pulling SNES 360 artwork, and I also wanted Minecraft to show up in my games list, not in XBLA.
I really like the ability to make custom changes like this. This dash rocks.

Thanks for the great work on this. Initially I was knocking Aurora thinking, "HTF do I get to my emulators???"
Then I found the shoulder buttons

You use XEXMenu, FSD or another instance of Aurora, then you grab content.db, from there you load it in SQLiteBrowser or something similar that support SQLite3
Excellent, thanks!

One of the biggest reasons for that is there are ALOT of ppl that only take, very few that appreciate the work that is put into it all... there's also alot of ppl that only complain about things that don't work...
It's homebrew, made by ppl that have other things to do in life then this, doing it just because it's somewhat fun... as a hobby... that's something that very few ppl seem to understand...
Oh I get it, and I appreciate the work that's being done. If I could offer anything of value to the efforts, I would. I'm merely sharing my observation that the homebrew development on the 360 seems to be lagging behind where other console homebrew is/was at 10 years in. Original Xbox, for example. I know, apples to oranges.

Well, in this particular case it was more me not getting along with the main developers behind it all and got fed up with how they treated me...
Fair enough. I just wish there was more interest out there in homebrew programming for the 360 in general. It just seems like the Emulators arena is lacking. There are a couple of really nice ones, but there are still many that are unpolished or not working at all.

You edit the database changing the flags making it appear as a Emulator instead of a 360 game
I figured as much. How do I edit the database?

Just read up on this topic, and I'm left disappointed. Some nice progress here, and then it just stalled out.
At the risk of going on a rant, this project (and many other homebrews like it) are all following the same tack: get started, get a taste, leave us hanging. It's disappointing how little development there's been for the Xbox 360 homebrew scene. I really wish I understood coding so I could contribute.
I guess the best I can do is wait patiently, and see how much more comes up.

I've got something similar to this going on. I think it's because GenesisPLus360 is installed in GOD format, whereas the rest of the emulators are in the Emulators directory with .xex files. Aurora sees the GOD folder, and assumes it's a game.
How do I get just GenesisPlus360 removed from my 'Xbox360' games list, and have it only show up in my 'Emulators' list?
-
yes it does.. the genesis emulator supports all sega roms.. genesis/MS/even game gear
Genesis-Plus-GX -> Sega Genesis (AKA master system.. lolz)
Aha....gotcha. I'll give it a shot.
-
i'd try a different rom.. or better yet.. use these..
emu-pack
cheat manager
http://www.realmodscene.com/index.php?/topic/5032-cheat-manager-for-emulators/
Thanks for the hotlink, but I've seen that project, and it doesn't include something for Sega Master System?

I've got SMS360 running on my jtag Falcon, and I'm having some trouble with a specific rom file - Zillion.
The rom keeps loading in Japanese, showing the Mark III logo upon boot. I can't seem to get it to boot in english.
Booting the same rom in a Windows based emulator (Meka) brings up the correct english graphics, logo, and text. But SMS360 is loading it in Japanese.
Is there some kind of config file or setting I can change to force SMS360 to load this rom correctly?

ummm.. it is out on xb1/ps4.. don't know why u waited for 360 release to buy an xb1, as it will be a toned down version anyways
I'm not purchasing an xbone solely for one title. I was leaning away from the system altogether until I caught wind that they were going to start implementing some backwards compatibility and the release of MKX upped the ante a bit. The game is great. But not "buy a whole new console" great.
When I saw the 7/1 release date for MKX on 360, I decided to finally pull the trigger on a jtagged system, since I was thinking about it for a bit. Now it looks like I won't be enjoying MKX on the 360 until next winter. Bummer.

Aha. Aurora Asset Editor. I've used that! I think I can figure this out.
