  1. Yes dustin because you are on vacation and you want to play on a bad wifi connection and you want to drag the connection down, we should allow you? That makes perfect sense If you are on vacation rather play single player. If anything its really unfair from you that you would drag 17 other people down just because you want to play. And also as i wanted it to work is you would not be able to join only the rooms which would use the option to block wifi users. When you would come back home and use wired connection you could yoin us with no problem. I dont get you dustin. We play cod which is a really fast paced game. Its really frustrating when the connection is bad. If you wanna play on wifi you better play hearthstone or any other card game.
  2. Regarding the kick options, it would be nice to have 0min kick option to kick inactive players. In my opinion there shoud be this options: -o min kick (inactive players) -1 hour kick (if someones connection is bad because he is downloading or uploading something) -block (cheaters and those with really bad connection or from far away) You would kick someone for "inappropriate behaviour"? yust use the mute button. And if someone is cheating you would ban him for only 12h? Cheating should not be tolerated. They are destroying the game. They should be blocked. Also as falaga aready said there should be an option when creating a room named "block wifi users", because really weird stuff happens in game because of wifi users. They should be able to see the room but when they want to enter a message would appear: "you cant yoin the room because you play on wifi" (or something like that). This would motivate people to set up wired connection. I know few people that use wifi and than complain about connection but they dont want to set up wired connection because they are lazy. Everyone needs to do his best so that his connecion is as good as possible so that he is not dragging down everyone else. But since people dont give a s***, we have to force them to do it. Report function will never work since players are accused of cheating all the time. If you are better than an average player you are accused of cheating. Report function is useless and will never work. We would need cheat protection which as stated from the devs is impossible.
  3. thank you a lot for fixing things yesterday i played for few hours and until 9pm CET, everything wak ok (few times rooms failed to load, but i did not get disconnected at all which is the most important part), but after 9pm it was really bad. the whole link got disconected all the time. and i checked several times and there were around 200 people on bo2 (few months ago, before the problem started i saw 300 people often and the only thing wrong was that rooms were loading really slow, but otherwise it worked. so its not the problem that to many people connect).
  4. there are a lot of people that dont know how to use title updates and its a shame that we play the same game, but we cant play together, because they are n title update 0. would it be possible that in nova by default when you go into a game, it would automatically check your title update number and if it does not match the latest title update, a notification would pop up and say there is an update to this game, do you wanna update? and if you press yes the title update would be downloaded.

  6. is there any particular reason why system link is having really big problems lately? system link is not loading (have to refresh several times so that it shows rooms) and you get disconnected several times per hour. even in a room with password and only few people in it. And i know its not only my problem because a lot of people told me that system link isnt loading for them and when i get disconnected and i reconnect i see that all other people were also disconnected. and also when i get disconnected, realmodscene and xbox unity do not work on pc. they are just loading (also doesnt work on my phone using data, so its not a problem on my side). and also system link had only 100 players on bo2 when it happened today (usually there are atleast 200 players online at this hour and the only downside is that it loads slow). today it was disconnecting every few minutes for 2 hours now and counting. but latelly (like past 2 weeks or so) it happens more and more often. and the issue of not loading the rooms is happening a lot, and therefore you have to refresh even more. i dont wanna bitch about it, since i play for free but i am just wondering what is wrong, and maybe notice the developers if they did not notice it.
  7. i dont think that its people pressing refresh since there are only 100 people playing bo2 now and its disconnecting all the time. usually atleast 200 or 250 people play and the only thing that happens is that system link loads longer. where can i ask this question? in what topic should i post? or can you ask a moderator since you know a lot of people. and felida i love how you reply so quickly

  9. i dont believe that an option to close the room would be good, since all people would be kicked out of it. so people in the middle of the game would be kicked. thats why the waiting line would be perfect. you would wait in line for max few minutes and when your in the room you can reclaim the leadership (if this is your room, since this will be an option in NOVA) and than your the king again . and i hate passwords. a week or so ago i saw you are playing in a room with a password and i wanted to join. since i did not know the pass i would have to write you here a private message, but since you were playing, you would not reply and also i would have to go to pc all the time to check if you replyed. our current system is that we have an oppen room and when people with bad connection join, we just block and kick them and they are unable to join again. this way we allow all players with good connection and all the new players that come to link to join our room. thi is a great way to find new friends . i know that in nova i would be able to pm you for the pass. but the problem is when you will get 50 or more posts from people requesting the pass... damn now i was off topic
  10. the fact is that a lot of people are doing this all the time. how do i know this? when a room is full and when someone lives the room, if i do not sign in the room in 2seconds, someone else takes my place over and over again. that means others are also refreshing all the time. and i agree with the notification. that would be amazing.
  11. when you want to get in the room where your friends play and the room is full, you have to refresh countless times until someone goes out of the room and you try to enter. and a lot of time someone takes that place before you, because other people are also waiting to get to that room. yesterday i counted and i had to refresh 92 times to get into a full room to play with friends. sometimes you have to spam the x button and refresh for 5min. and of course when more people play, there are a lot of people who are constantly refreshing and waiting to get in a full room. this is taking loads of resources from the server. my idea is to make waiting lines. for example when a room is full there would be x-refresh, a-join, LB-WAIT IN LINE. So if a room is full you would press LB (or rb or rt or something) and you would be waiting in line. the rooms would display number of players in room and number of people waiting in line. when someone leaves the room, the person who is the first waiting in line, would get loged into the room. when someone leaves again, than the second person waiting in line would get loged in the room and so on. this way people would not have to spam the refresh button all the time an the most important part is the server would not be stressed so much. how would you know that you have been loged into a room if you dont refresh? idk if its possible but maybe when the server logs you in a room after waiting in line, it could automaticly refresh your screen and maybe make a sound or notification or something. this is just an idea. if its useless or hard to implement than just go ahead and delete the thread.
  12. felida really funny how i replyed to you with half of a page and you reply only to the part that has nothing to do with this thread. probably on every page i said atleast 1x that this thread has nothing to do with in-game lag... but that is all you still talk about. and its also really funny how i quote how 3 people with great knowledge atleast partially agree with what i said and you just ignore that . now for the fluctuating bars you saw. like i said, when few people die the bars do not show correctly. i dont know why it happens but it does. its common knowledge in bo2 community. thats why we kick only people that have 1 bar at the start of the game. and if you dont believe me we can go search and destroy and set the time to 10minutes and just watch the bars. i will have atleast 3 bars always. so how come? i play bo2 every day for several hours, but again your the pro felida.. and again, dont take my word for it (because i know that no matter what i say, you wont believe me anyway), ask any bo2 player that plays search and destroy. and also like gavin stated, there is more than 1 way to contribute to the community. i spent countless hours searching the web on how to optimize my internet connection for my xbox. i even drilled a hole in the ceiling, so that i could connect my xbox directly to the router. i flashed tomato by shibby, i configured bandwidth limiter. the only thing that i wish i would be able to do is configure the qos... qos on tomato is impossible to understand for me. i know how it works, i just dont know how to set it up. if you or someone else would help me to configure that, i would be really happy. so now what i do is if someone else wants to use youtube when i play i have to limit his upload speed to max 5-10% of the upload, and than turn it off, since i dont want to limit them when i dont play. i would get a better internet connection, so that i would be able to offer my connection to others by hosting, but since i am broke i am not able to do that... any other questions felida?
  13. maybe i wrote i a bit strange. felida said he saw me laging. so the question was for felida if he saw me laging when MrSASA was hosting because that would be nuts since he lives next to me. and i never get any lag if i connect to a european host with more than 1mb upload and of course if there are no people with wireless or really bad connection or downloading. and the part about the house... omg i get u... i am 25 and i live at my parents place.. how pathetic
  14. felida everyone has moved on but your still all fired up i see so regarding the game that you watched: everyone knows that you have to check the connection when the match begins, because when few people die the displayed bars do not show correctly. if you dont believe me you can ask any bo2 player... but again ur the pro felida.. when MrSASA was hosting i had 1 bar? he lives 50km from where i live (have visited him few times) and he has 120mb download and 4mb upload and he is skilled in seting things up. i have 10/1 connection and atleast 70% is always reserved for my xbox. on every host from europe i get atleast 3 bars, but you know better than me of course. yesterday i had 0 lag ingame (because players with 1 bar were kicked). you were playing yesterday? didnt even notice. dont u have headset? and again felida i have no idea why you still talk about ingame lag when i told several times that this thread has nothing to do with ingame lag. and i do not bitch about unity being slow, i just asked what will happen when loads of people will join and gave a suggestion on how to tackle this problem, but yes i am a real jerk about why i did not donate: i am doing my masters and i dont have a job. i think 2x before spending money. but if we stepped up as a community and everyone would chip in, than i would be the first one to do so (obviously since i made this suggestion). felida: "how is something supposed to be produced without funding?" i agree with you. thats why i made this thread. we would probably need more than 5€ for a new server or internet connection or whatever the devs need. this is why i suggested that everyone pays a tiny bit and we all benefit from it. but i guess you did not read my posts. felida: "there are several reasons why YOU take forever to load unity, VS others.." what do you mean? when unity is slow for me and i ask others in party and they say its also slow for them. but again your the pro for playing 1x per week. someone posted a link on how to correctly setup the router (i appreciate it) and my settings are correct. so please tell me those reasons so that i will make changes to my setup. and its really strange how you completely disagree with everything that i post. but if you dont believe me, maybe than this men can help you:
  15. i have asked i think 5 people that usually host and they told me that when you select region (when creating a room) it does nothing. it just displays the region name in the rooms name. otherwise this would be amazing. and maybe an option to select more than one region would also be great. regarding the forum, i even tryed to make a fb group since i know that most of the players i play with are mostly active there and it did not work out and thank you for the constructive reply (would press thanks, but have none left)
  16. i did not donate since i had a fealing that it will not solve anything. but i would be the first to pay if nova would be payable (obviously since i created this thread). my idea was that we stup up as a comunity and buy a new server or pay for better internet connection. whatever the devs need to make it work better. and common felida i never said u guys were lieing... you didnt even bother to read what i wrote and attacked me. be a man like _-=SτÅTìC Pu£53=-_ who atleast stopped this nonsense... but you would never admit you were wrong, even tho swizzy himself agrees with what i said. the whole time you were talking about how its all xbox fault and than you were talking about how ingame lag works, even tho i told you several times i am not talking about in game lag. well done felida. be a man and grow a pair and admit you were wrong and end of the story.

  18. and i did tell u and others that i am not talking about the ingame lag and it still took 4 pages and a picture of a dead horse and me quoting you.... like i said when others say system link is slow it is also slow for me. it doesnt happen that it is slow for me and fast for others. and thank you for the port forwarding link u sent me. my settings are ok. flashed my router with tomato by shibby and all those setiings are applyed. i am also wired and i am limiting other devices connection. and again this was only a suggestion thread.

  20. this was my point all along. if now system link takes 30 seconds to load a room what will happen when 800 people play? will it take 5 minutes to load rooms? lets say i wanna switch room and it loads 5min and i see its full, than i ress refresh and after 5min of loading the room has 31 players. i press join and after 5min i noticed that t didnt connect me to the room because someone joind the room few seconds before me. than i press refresh again and wait again? and again in this post you confirm what i was talking about all the time and than you start to tal about in game lag again... u can read all the pages and u will see i said it several times that i am not refering to in game lag but i am talking about system link loading rooms. this is the only valid point. this makes sense. but how can you be sure its not the servers fault? everytime you refresh system link you pull data from the unity server. and there is a difference if 30 people pull data from it or if 300 or 800 people do it. but yes your point is valid. thank you.
  21. ok thank you for your answer. this is all i wanted to know the whole time. my idea was that if we get the money to get a better server, the room login would be faster. it is ok now but when more people come it will get really slow. (i know that this would not help for ingame lag it is just so that the rooms would load fast and that you can kick people and change room fast)
  22. thank you this is what i am talking about. i am NOT talking about the ingame speed. like you said the lobby connect speed depends on the amounth of people that are simultaneously loading rooms and refreshing, because they want to get in a specific room that is ful or they are kicking people (u have to refresh for every single person u kick). so lets say 800 people play bo2. will the room load 5min or more when there will be so many people connected?
  23. this is what i am talking about. i said several times that i am not talking about in game lag. if there will be 800 people on system link and they will search for different rooms and kick people (for everyone that u kick u have to refresh again), will it take me 10minutes so sign in a room or if the system itself can overload.

  25. this is what i am talking about. but if 30 people are connected it takes 5 seconds to load, if 300 people are connected, it takes up to 30 seconds to load what if 800 people connect? or even more? there is just so much that the server can handle.
