NAT is for Live only.. it will ALWAYS be strict in SysLink.. 

So waht to do with the Strict NAt advie i get on REACH ? i cant join other player's game because of that... it doesn happen always, but it happens.

Well, as i wrote above,  Does NAT bear on link performance ? Since i keep getting a NAT strict advice on HALO reach and COD BAlck ops 2, im wondering how does nat bear on it and if there is a way to solve that. Reading some topics here i found solutions like opening ports, or set up DMZ but i've done that already. Whenever i make the test i get everything passed so its not expected to get this advice but im getting it. Thanks.

got it working now.....had to make my broadcast/data ports to a bigger number..thanks  anyway Swizzy !

so isnt there a solutio for taht so far ? i do thank you guys for developing the link plataform, but i face lot of issues when joining to some rooms, specially with Balck ops and black ops 2. If you guys could giewm me an advice on how to set up link or is would there be a trick for getting it working better i would be really thankfull. i clarify, link works quite good when i play Halo reach and Advanced Warfare, but i would like to play black ops 2 but link doesnt work as good as on these other games. when i do the test on aurora i get pass on all of them, port mapping, upnp, acces to unity, everything is passed and i dont kwon what to do to play black ops 2 through link. thanks

The thing is FATXplorer is able to mount the drive in windows like any other usb and as you can imagine it transfers at sata speeds for me where good old ftp on the Xbox at best case is 11mbps with the ftp overhead on top of that.

If you are copying on a few files sure ftp is the way to go but if you are copying on coinops mega pack for example and a few movies it can take hours to do this will be way better.

Of note with the correct sata to ide adaptor you can use a modern sata drive in the Xbox just nothing over 2TB it is hard to get ide drives reasonably priced these days.

If like me you mod lots of original Xbox consoles for friends and family and fit 1 and 2tb drives it can be very time consuming to copy on content and set them up, this just makes things easier.

yes sure it is a paid app but I bit the bullet and purchased it and it has been very valuable for me as a modding tool for the 360.

if it is as good on the Xbox as the 360 storage devices I will be happy!!

I have sent Eaton some binary dumps of Xbox drives to play with and hope to see some progress soon, but that is up to him and his available spare time.

He has all the toys to play with as one would say.

Hello I had a problem when i downloaded supremacy dlc for advanced warfare, when i click multiplayer it loads up and the mp maps work fine

However when i chose exo zombies it say searching for new content and said i have to install something so i can even open zombies to play carrier i even download the compability pack 4 and map pack 3 the both season passes and the tu was from freestyle please help!!!!!!!!!!!!! thx

I did the latest dashboard update that adds 2TB to external drives so I can finally have more than 32GB of DLC at one time. I moved all my 32GB Content folder to my computer, removed the 32GB partition from Xbox Settings and transfered my content folder at the root of the HDD (F:/Content) Horizon manages to install DLC normally and they also show up at Xbox Storage Games and Apps but not when using aurora. Any ideas on what I am doing wrong? thanks in advance

I wonder if you assigned game routes again on aurora... it seems like you skipped that

Hello, I didn't know where I could post my little problem exactly

I do have Aurora 0.5b r1025 and I noticed something. Suddenly almost all of my games don't have the TU activated when I start the game. The TUs are also not listed in the "Details", I may redownload them but they still don't appear as enabled TUs. I tried to rescan my TUs but the problem remains. My TUs eventually are normal again after reboot or shutdown.

I don't know how I can fix that, any ideas how to resolve that?

Re install Aurora, that might solve the issue...

You need all 3, that's why it's complaining, you don't have Pack 1, which it wants to download for you

Do you have all 3 of the compatibility packs installed? it doesn't sound like you do...

Packs 2 and 3 came with the dlc, a season pass and the TU10... that's what I have installed.

When aurora don't show you the TU it's because it's incompatible with your version of the game, or atleast that is what Aurora think of it...

Well... I've just replaced Te TU and all game files/folders , the dlc and the compatibility packs inside the same tittleID folder and Aurora finally recognizes the TU now... but still asks for Live connection ... even for regular multiplayer mode, if I disable the TU then I can go on multiplayer mode but then the Exo zombi mode is not available. I've checked the dlc with xm360 and it is unlocked... I don't know what the problem is, I have more dlcs and this is the one that gives me so much problems... have you gotten it to work ?

It should be TitleID and not MediaID

Yes, as I manually scan for TU, Aurora restarts and it shows a message like " Advanced warfare TU backing up..." or something like that... but no TU ate shown when I want to activate it just before run the game, so I connect the console to the Internet and Download it. The TU and the compatibility packs came with the Dlc I downloaded.

the dash doesn't matter, as only the kernel matters(aurora/FSD dont) .. and the media id has to match your game's media ID.. lol

ALSO: dont download the TU via WiFi, as that will likely NOT work!!

1 Yes, media id match with game id. I have 2 folders for the game. First one in GOD and the second one that contains the installable content ( that one is named with game id) dlc, TU and compatibility packs are on the second one.

3 I'm running latest kernel.

4 If I manually transfer the TU to the HDD Aurora doesn't recognize it so the only way to get it work is to download it directly from the console.

unload the freestyle plugin. when the plugin is loaded all system link traffic gets forwarded over VPN to unity. Maybe we can get an offline mode in Nova, so you can have all the custom guide, with all of its feature, and be able to play system link locally without having to unload nova.

Hello guys, I'm having a trouble. I'm not sure if it's a good idea to post it in this forum (just please move it)

Well first thing's first, I'm kinda noob to jtagged xbox, I just bought one a month ago.

I wanted to install themes and other stuffs but I was told that for themes to work it should be upgraded to dash 3 rev 775.

Upon checking my jtagged xbox (E series, manufactured October 2013) specs, here's what I've seen:

Dash version 3.0 Rev 58

Kernel Version 2.0.16547.0

Skin 3.0 Rev 63

So the question is, how could I easily update?

Go for aurora. FSD is like Wn Xp these days.

Does local link work here ? 'Cause in 0.4b didn't 😢

Will work on 0.5b ?
