  1. Hi guyz..i recently got a jtag xbox nd to be able to play through system link with my friends over internet..i installed freestyle dash nd did the configuration process..the test says pass in everything..but my problem is very weird when i open COD black ops and join a lobby nd then try to join my friends server it doesnt proceed beyond selection screen..on the other hand people nd my friends too have been able to join my created server..plz i need help on how should i join others :/

Are you using TU11? The title update may be the cause, if your TU is current then I'd go to check the plugin status.

  2. The nanostation connects to a bigger antenna i don't know what it is

I tried nating once and it didnt work( i've connected the xbox directly to the anetanna , i got internet but ports failed )

The nanostation connects to a POE ( its like an adapter of the antenna ) with a crossover cable, then another crossover cable comes out of that POE and connects to the router

And i dont think that its just a repeater because it has many functions like port forwarding, the only problem is that my isp does not give me access to the antenna

you can check a demo of the antenna software here

    EDIT:

I've tried a new router and i think the antenna is the problem

in the router the port gets forwarded, before there were no 3071 ad 3072 ports, but after i pressed test in Link and ports fail i got this:

    attachicon.gifmedia-20150627.png

They're limiting your service because if your router is displaying that on your end, then you should be fine with everything that YOU can configure.

    That really sucks...  =\

Basically you LiNK test is working locally but its most likely being blocked at the demarcation point which would be either at the antennae or whatever the antennae is broadcasting to.

A bridged VPN connection via a PC using two NICS might work but you're going to suffer some latency.

By any chance have you tried using XlinkKai? and if so do you get the same issue?

The PoE shouldnt matter as thats Power over Ethernet and used for VOiP phones and the such.

  3. It has nothing to do with the limitations on the 360, it does however have alot to do with the developers making a deal with MS that they wouldn't make a 360 version and that MS wouldn't pursue them for the Xbox version... also, XBMC have dropped Xbox now a days... it's now known as "KODI" to get away from "Xbox" in general...

Another thing that factors in is the massive amount of work required, codecs are written for x86 in general, not PPC64... they're also written for LE, while the 360 is BE (LE = Little Endian, BE = Big Endian)

From what I've read over at Kodi, there are two main reasons why they won't port it to PPC

    1.They love OpenGL

2.H.264 and H.265 are a pain in the ass to get to play well with PPC.

Also, they prefer to be "Legitimate" with the advent of Android devices and the such so they feel no need to tinker with console ports anymore which puts them in legal troubles with the dev kits.

I do all my DLNA stuff with a Matricom G Box Q these days, it works a LOT better than my old setup.

  4. 1. Right off the top, what model is that Belkin router? Port forwarding has nothing to do with your ISP as it is a LAN issue. (Unless they're specifically blocking the ports (3071 & 3072 in AND out)

2.Your PC should have nothing to do with any of this unless you're using it as a bridge and the PC has two NIC's in it to do so. (Unless you're bridging the ethernet to wireless, kinda overkill in this case)

    3. What type of WAN device are you using (ADSL, Cable Modem??)

###3.1 If your WAN device supplies wireless service then perhaps log into the modem and do port forwarding there, some AT&T Uverse models are like that.###

    4. What type of service do you subscribe to and who is your provider?

An easy way to test it is if you're port forwarding config was done correctly then anyone should be able to use a port scanner on your natted ip and see 3071 and 3072 as open ports I'd say but don't quote me on that.

    Nice logical topology btw,

    UPDATE:

I researched your WAN device http://store.netgate.com/Ubiquiti-NanoStation-M5-5GHz-Hi-Power-2x2-MIMO-AirMax-Station-P240.aspx

so I'm making a guess here that you live in a rural area since that's not your run of the mill equipment there.

I'm not exactly sure its capable of supporting your xbox. What is the nanostation connecting from?

ALSO: Are you using a crossover cable from your router to the nanostation? I'm asking because that's what your logical topology is indicating.

You should really only be Natting once, NAT IP on modem but modem should dhcp to router WAN port (technically a second NAT) which in turn the router should supply dhcp to your LAN (Computers,Xbox,DLNA devices,etc.....)

Not really sure in your case because that nanostation is a repeater//wireless bay station???

At this point I'd tend to agree with what your ISP is telling you since that is not a modem that you're using.

  5. well it is the same for everything that is multi-disc with an "install/play" setup.. no REAL reason to extract the "play" disc.. unless you want to.. + GOD format helps minimize the missing/corrupt files for extracted setups.. as sometimes things just don't copy proper, due to what ever reason.. lolz

    EDIT:

the op's problem is fixed.. he just needed to run xm360

I'm glad he was able to sort it out.

  6. My bad sorry.

    I've waited an hour?

    Date has always been 2015?

extract disc one for the Content folder and put it where it should be on hdd1, disc 2 is all you need after that and extract that as well and place it in a different folder and scan it. Afterwards run xm360 and unlock the Content as DLC, your disc backup should work then.

    Classic multidisc configuration mistake.

  7. hi members and Swizzy ,  i got a question i hope you understand it ill word it best i can..............

i have more than one 360 that has been R-JTAGGED by me ( with a lot of help from Swizzy ) ,  some are on different Dashboards 2.0.16747.0 and 2.0.17148 for example.  I want to use the Official XBOX 360 Hard Drive for Game Saves and Roms for Retroarch.  I dont want multiple Hard Drives with Game Saves and hi scores everywhere ,  I want to use just the one XBOX 360 Hard Drive and use it on all my 360's

is this possible ? will the different Dashes cause a issue ?

    Swizzy for President !

    chat soon

Shouldnt really matter with the drive as the version of dashlaunch on the drive and if its compatible with the kernal version I'd think. I swap drives between consoles a lot to test functionality.

  8. holy shiat.. missed this msg.. you should quote so i'd get a notification.. gotta run and do some errands here shortly.. but after you down?? we can even play D3? lolz

Sorry about that, so much for resetting my sleeping schedule cuz I just woke up again. anyhoo hit me up.

  9. Put it on your hard drive and set it in default paths in Dashlaunch. Its pretty much straightforward. Unless you prefer using a regular dashboard or fsd or whatever it is you're currently using.

  10. lol  I'm game, just watching Weeds right now. Stupid show really... Kinda wanna reach into the tv and bitch slap the mom. No one I ever met when I lived in Humboldt ever acted that brainless. Let me make some coffee and I'm down for some zombies if you want.

  11. jtag is same as RGH(only diff is the type of hack).. lolz.. title updates from unity will work.. i think OP is asking to go onto LIVE with it..

Good stuff. Didn't see anything that indicated wanting to go on live other than a game update so I figured he wanted TU's...

  12. Another thing just dawned on me. Check the game folder for a Content folder and cut/paste the inside folder to the Content folder  of your hard drive.

    For HDD1, its

    \Xbox360\System\Hdd1\Content

If its an external drive its

    \XBox360\System\Usb0\Content

And if inside that content folder is a folder called 000002 you will most likely need to rerun xm360 and scan then unlock DLC since the pathname has changed.

  13. I got a problem that I can't solve alone...

    I use Aurora 0.5b and it's brilliant.

I ripped all games from original DVDs into my internal, official 500GB-HDD.

    Most of them run perfect.

But there are 2 games that stop everytime at the exact same point.

"Fable 2 - GOTY (german)" (after choosing which character I like to play, right before the game starts) and

"Mass Effect 2 (german)" (right after the intro).

    Everytime I get the message:

    Fatal crash intercepted.

When I play these games directly from DVD (not from the internal HDD) they work fine.

Does anyone know what to do?

Maybe scan the content of your drive with XM360?

Unlock XBLA and DLC that you copied over to it so that your console knows where to find it?

Here it is if you need it, there are lots of useful utilities in the Xbins section and I hope this helps.

  14. There is always the other option, you could start developing link to work with other systems, not just the xbox 360, like Xlink Kai, which has been around forever. ;) I figure if it works on the original xbox via XBMC,  the PSP, and the PS3 like like it does on the xbox, and maybe support some of the older systems like the gamecube, or ps2, then there is a chance that it could in theory take the place of Xlink Kai, as the idea is it doesnt require a computer in the middle. Not sure how feasable this is with older systems, but I can see it working on the PS3 at least.

Thats a pretty Epic idea for multiplatform support then maybe integrate it for the emulators with their netplay feature. THat is asking for a lot though.
