since my jtag died i bought a slim (not e-slim) with rgh coolrunner
it was a new console and soldered just some days ago
i have 2 very strange problems:
1) -when i connect an internal hdd (i tried 3 different ones) the console does not boot (neither dash/xell)
-its just the green powerlight, slow fan, and no tv signal
-strangest thing: when i touch the hdd i feel it doesnt even spin ??
-when i boot the console without hdd and hotplug the hdd, the console power resets
and wont boot (but the hdd now spins!!!)
2) if i boot xell (without hdd of course) xell freezes after it detects the dvd-drive,
the console gets an ip from router but you cant connect with browser to get cpukey / nand
i was told hdds worked with the console before i got it
the console was lying at a parcel service for some weeks cause it got lost
its winter here maybe the weather or parcel guys f***** it up ?
its a slim 2013, 250gig fifa14 model, bought it without hdd cause ive many hdds lying around
kernel is 17150, xell 0.993 if i remember correctly
some weeks ago i had an eslim and it was no problem to connect any hdds but i gave the console away
btw i dont have a hdd case for the slim/eslim, but u dont really need that
any Ideas ?
