Yes of course. nosshdd is still activated in my dual nand setup.
What a pity there is no solution in XeX Menu / FX Menu to make dissapear this nagging profile's connection popup...
Thx you both for your support
Admin close this topic please.

There is no way to prevent the login prompt...
Ok sadly
Gavin didn't imply going online with the console in a hacked state, but possibly via your profile on another console or this console in a retail state (dualboot with a untouched nand)
I understand now the whole thing he tried me to explain. It's in the case i would mess with my official XBL profile in jtag/glitch mode.
There are patches available to prevent using content on a retail compatible hdd (making sure you don't use a profile etc. You have on said device...)
Which ones please ? You mean in Daslaunch probably ?
-
Ok. But perhaps misunderstanding as English is not my first language. I don't want to go online with my RGH console. Never.
This point clarified I wonder if there's any universal way to avoid the profile connection popup in FX Menu/XeX Menu other than sign them with my profile and console ID ?
-
FX Menu doesn't seem to correct the problem from asking to log with a profile at startup and to copy it. At least onto 17502....missed

2. Yes all official xbox apps and games including the stock dashboard have a title ID
I knew for games and apps but i didn't know for the stock Dash after thought it's completely logic. BTW what is its Title ID please ?
FXmenu and XeXMenu are the same other than the titleID spoofing.
Ok i understand. I would try to do it myself. For instance yet i'm trying to add skins in XeXMenu. If the solution is a Title ID spoof it shouldn't be so hard isn't it ?
Edit : ok i've found it.
The title ID is stored in the xex file of xex menu, which is stored in a container
Yes indeed. I extracted the container and compared default.xex between FX Menu and XeXMenu in Hexa. The Title ID of FX Menu is FFFE07D1 which corresponds to the Dash multimedia elements. The difference is at Offset 2040 block size 4.

Thanks to answer.
You could set your console to automatically log in to a profile.
I know but i don't want because it's my dual nand console.
You could also try fx menu, which is a modified version, for use with stealth servers, but I think the only real difference is that it spoofs the titleID to match the NXE dashboard
I didn't know about FX Menu gonna take a look into it. I don't understand what you meaned by it spoofs the titleID to match the NXE ?
The Title ID of what ? I mean related to what ? NXE has a Title ID ?
you can also hit b when the window pops
Yes i know that but i'm fed up of it that's why i wrote this topic.

Hi
is there any way to deactivate XeXMenu always asking to connect to a profile ?
It happens both xex and live versions...
Should i edit the default.xex ?
Thank you

You can use xeBuild GUI for just about everything, when i did this for a living i only used NANDPro & xeBuild GUI
Yes indeed it's safer not to make mistakes
-
Yes you can, the update feature to the best of my knowledge is only used for downloading newer versions of firmware
Nope. Not only to download new Kernel. It performed files check on Xebuild version, Xell version, Dashlaunch version and default SMC.
It matched the " Enable File checks/Downloads " in settings. They are bound. Inseparable.
No Problems at all?
Take care to taking off the resident SMC staying in the Xebuild/Data folder for another console's motherboard

This will be skip using the mobile Dat files in Nanddump.bin.
Yes for sure but i don't know what the purpose of the mobile Dat files is ^^
What it does is essentially reset your xbox to factory state, Mobile*.dat contains various user/console settings
Ok i understand like Parental Settings, Dsisplay settings, etc...
Thank you guys for the informations

Hi,
I just wanted to ask what does exactly nomobile option in Xebuild ?
I couldn't find any specific inormations on it.
Thank you.
-
Thank you Swizzy for your support
you'll have to read the options.ini to find out...
Trust me i've read the wholes ini that i could find in Xebuild....
sorry, but i don't think it's in the ini, possibly it is...
Indeed it's not in the ini but i perform some tests and it's interessant I explain the purpose :
as all half-automatic software like J-Runner or AutoGG are outdated i want to make as much as noob friendly with the latters.
Of course i could apply the patches with command lines in Xebuild. And i think " on the Fly " with Update Mode or Client Mode too.
But this not i want to do.
Now i'm able to build a working FB Nand in AutooGG with a CR4_SMC that isn't supported. Furthermore i'm able to build a working FB Nand with BlakCat_Xell in J-R ( btw i like this Xell because it owns an Auto-Dumper very useful ).
But with the patch nowifi for instance none of them support it natively....

Hi
is there any possibility to invoke Xebuild patches such as nointmu.bin, noSShdd.bin, nowifi.bin without command line arguments ?
Like a custom SMC.bin placed in Xebuild\mydata works in order to create a Freeboot Nand ?

Yes, but also the exact numbers/letters you put also have an effect, this is something that is very advanced, and very hard to do...
Ok thank you for the support. This is clear for me now.
It's trial and error but it should be useful in SRGHV2 with the Speed_Up_SMC (15432). Because sometimes it runs too fast especially on Triity
-
type in whatever data you want
Ok but you said :
the data may be carefully crafted aswell as different data will have different effects...
This is a paradox isn't it ?
The data could be letters or numbers ? Is it working like a kind of timer to delay the bootloader sequence ?
Edit : i think i understand better. The more i write letters or numbers in this blmod.bin file it becomes bigger then increases the delay. Is this right ? Thank you.
-
you create random data and name it "blmod.bin" and put it in the data folder... the data may be carefully crafted aswell as different data will have different effects...
Thank you for the very quick answer Swizzy. But i don't get it. What kind of data ? And how to create it ? Must i use Post Bus Sniffer ? Or must i know language programming ?
Thanks

Hi
did some one ever tried the blmod.bin patch from Xebuild ?
If yes please how to use this ? THXblmod.bin:
==========
Changing the patches to the BL that follows the BL that is executing during glitch attempts
has a direct effect on whether a machine will glitch. The provided patches are generic
and work well on most machines, but this per machine build addon can now be supplied without
modifying the base patches to CBB or CD via a file in the perbuild folder, they will simply be
tacked onto the end of CBB or CD, and the BL size adjusted to include this new data in the hash.
Keep in mind, it can take multiple attempts and re-flashing with different binary data to find
something that will boot at all, let alone be more effective for your console.
blmod is currently not supported by update mode.'blmod.bin' per-build file, can assist fine tuning glitch machines that don't play well with standard patches

Sorry for being so late
I ended it up with several tests...here are my setup with a PNP SMD Transistor :

http://www.hostingpics.net/viewer.php?id=723624USBPNP.jpg
The Dead End Line is Up to 2 KOhms (for me at least on Corona). Why ? because if you go further you will enable to format the USB Memory correctly^^
So I ended to put a 1 KOhms resistor and everythings allright
Now the extended memory is recognize on the Retail part and shows Unformatted on the Glitch part. Exactly what I wanted.

You guys roxxxx
THX for the Help ! I updated my version of Horizon. Everythings ok now.
Cheers
Admin please mark it as solved.
-
update to the latest version of Horizon
My actual version of Horizon is v2.7.6.9.
Really ? I'm gonna make a try...
-
Just put it in the hidden content folder on your drive, or update to the latest version of Horizon
Thanks to reply.
I explain :
- I formated an USB Stick (2 Go) on the new Dashboard 17349.
- I putted this USB Stick on my PC and it's not recognized by Horizon anymore. So I'm unable to put XexMenu 1.2 Live on the stick...
- Then I tried with " Show Hide Content " on the PC...nothing
Should I try XEX Menu in XEX format ?
-
Hi,
does anyone know how to install XEXMenu 1.2 Live on a USB stick formated with the new Dashboard 17349 ?
Because Horizon doesn't recognize my USB stick anymore...
Thanks a lot- 2

I would try the unused LED point
I think about this solution. It would be easier.
but it has to put out a voltage, so if it works as a switching ground it will not work.
I think I could use a single NPN or PNP Transistor. It will depend if it has an output voltage or switching ground :
- PNP if it has Output voltage. DNA off the Transistor is saturated. Then USB Memory is on (+5V).
- NPN if it swithes on ground. DNA off the Transistor is saturated. Then USB Memory is on (GND).

Fix me if im wrong, but you can use cr_en point on demon for this...
I never used Demon but yes you are right you can use the cr_en point. It is equivalent to the ISP point on the X360 DNA.
But as i said my ISP is still used...I will have to liberate it...
New MS sytem update 2.0.17511

Hi
just to inform you that there's a new MS system update. This Kernel is 2.0.17511.
I updated my dual nand on the retail side. XKey still works. Flashed drives too.
This update is now available to download as a USB one on the official MS site
I could post a dump from my retail nand if an admin is interessed in.
Have to wait for a new Dashlaunch and Xebuild versions
Btw i couldn't post this info in the Scene News section of the forum.
EDIT : i've just made a fresh new retail dump. A new efuse blown. CB_B stay unchanged. RGH still works. What's weird is that this is unavailable on the official MS site nor Major Nelson blog...
This update seems to me minor. I only noticed some few changes in the SMC_Config.
