  1. You don't need to mess with Dashlaunch. Just delete the FSD folder on your HDD (with XexMenu), copy the latest version of FSD on a FAT32 formated USB then transfer the newly downloaded version of FSD from your USB to your HDD via XexMenu. After you have done all the things mentioned above set your "default" path in Dashlaunch to point to FSD's "default.xex" file that's located in the FSD folder. Save your settings in Dashlaunch and you're good to go.

  2. I had a bit of an advance on the game that wouldn't load... I tried it via xexmenu and it loaded fine. Does that make sense to anyone? Could I have an out of date version of FSD? I haven't updated it since it was installed for me in September. If this game not working does sound like an FSD update issue, where would I check the current version on my console and where would I get the new one? Also, where would the Arcade titles be on the hdd that I owned before? I'm trying to assign them a path and can't figure out where they'd be?

The best option would be to set your path at the root of your HDD and set the scan depth to 5 or 6. After thet do a manual scan.

  3. A big error on my side, sorry buddy. Why don't you install FSD by manually copying it to your internal HDD via XexMenu

i do have xexmenu, but i dont know how to do that. :pi just know why is it showing me that message. any clue? i really want to run freestyle dash.and how do i run an iso of freestyle from a usb?
I never Installed FSD from a ISO. Btw what are you using for storing games since it's a 4 gb model?

  4. It doesn't matter if it's a RGH or JTAG because they basically do the same thing. Is the game that you're trying to play an Xbox 1 game?

no? i said that im trying to install freestyle dash 3

  5. My friend has one of those (a maxshooter). So basically since I'm a class-A noob on playing COD or any kind of first person shooters when I think about it, I asked him to lend it to me for a couple of days. Keep in mind he has bought his contller back in 2010 so I'm not sure if they have improved it. There are two versions of it, the Pro version and the normal one. Now the normal version requires you to plug in a Xbox controller everytime before you insert your mouse inside. That was a big minus for me because I don't own a wired controller and to be honest I'm too damn lazy to do it everytime I feel like playing an FPS. The Pro version on the other hand doesn't require a wired controller for it to work and it's much more precise and less glitchy compared to the normal version. So as I was saying I had it for a short ammount of time which was enjoyable compared to the gamepad nightmare that I had. All in all it's a good product with minor setbacks but worth the current price.

  6. It's a Trinity if I remember correctly. What do you mean by "plug in pcb"?

Is it a plug in unit or a chip soldered to the main board. From what I can find the dash is on the same chip on the corona v2.Have a look here. Corona Identification
I think there was a chip underneath the MU but I don't quite remember because it was a long time ago since I removed it. Mine wasn't soldered (the 4Gb chip), i just plugged it out.

  7. The Dashboard has it's own place that doesn't depend on other memory devices. I have a 4 Gb model with a 500 GB HDD. When I was installing a new fan I simply removed the 4 Gb chip so that it doesn't ask me where my save is everytime I play a game cause it's annoying. Everything works as it were a 250 Gb model :)

  8. big and bulky like the ps3 launch,,bluray drive like expected,,games are still going to cost more,,don't know if its backwards compatiable,,probably not,,no word on harddrive sizes,,and if you can upgrade like the ps3,,will there be heat issues?? if so im going to remain busy,,time will tell,,

I don't really think Microsoft's gonna make the same mistake twice about overheating issues. Though I agree it's a little bit too bulky but then again it has ALOT of hp :)
