  1. try my edited default.xex which will allow direct TU download from the usual place in FSD3 TU manager.

    http://www.realmodscene.com/index.php?/topic/3384-watch-dogs/?p=25583

try launching the game as a GOD from  -

Hdd:\Content\0000000000000000\54A95DF1\00070000\GOD DATA FILES HERE  (DISC 1)

(rather than from a GOD from FSD3 file manager not in that location)-

Once DLC installed delete disc 1 from cover flow (your find the box art in XLBA so just move it to xbox 360 section).

I haven't personally tried this method on this game but it worked for me with Far Cry 4 and the TU1 problems I was having.

this method worked for me with Far Cry 4 and the TU1 error everyone gets. My Watchdogs works fine from the edited default.xex but I do get an error like you when it comes to booting game.xex in Dragon Age Inquisition.  I found it was fine to boot it from FSD3 File Manager but launching it from box art causes fatal crash.

  2. made a guide here for playing everything off ext hdd (includes JPEGS and TU1,deluxe DLC and English voice over pack).

    https://copy.com/2amtOI9fAUdMtrHg

Comes with TU1 (media ID:4955B754 Complex release Disc 1)
    Deluxe Edition DLC
    All unlocked
Instructions and JPEGS to install this game all to EXT HDD with WXPIRS avoiding the splash loop error and not having to turn off plugin...

Not had any luck yet getting Deluxe DLC to work.Still trying....

Personally I don't want to have to turn off plugin so keeping things all from EXT HDD.

If the DLC is working your find it in a chest when you first wake up in the game after killing the first demon by the rift.

  3. There is no TU2 been on XBL today.

  4. I got it all working from ext hdd now i missed of 2 files (install.dat and package.mft)

now it works without switching off plugin with TU1 (no stuck in loop).

Both discs in 1 folder on ext hdd.

    follow guide-

    http://www.xpgamesaves.com/topic/114073-tutorial-dragon-age-inquisition-installation/

    use WXPIRS

extract the data folders (disc 1) from the 4 extracted content files,1 at a time is best.(don't forget install.dat and package.mft) and

copy/paste to root of disc 2 folder (over writing any duplicate files ect).

    delete DA3.splash.xex on disc 2.

your end up with 1 folder (name it Dragon Age Inquisition) with 217 files and 88 folders 12.9 GB in size where you can play from int or ext hdd.

delete any internal stuff as you don't need it apart from the TU1.

  5. at least when you reboot plugin loads up again.

this is a copy/paste solution somebody on x360iso gave and i tried it but i got fatal crash, for me only switching off plugin works.

once i extracted the dlc contents with exiso i then used a program called wxpirs (once opened just point to the dlc file) to extract the data folder only from the extracted dlc files. There is 1 data folder per dlc file so a total of 4 in all. Its these data folders that you copy (once extracted with wxpirs) to disc 2 and overwrite when asked.

the folder size should be 12.6gb when finished, i then just ftp'd to my external hard drive and all is fine.

Obviously things will be different if you are not using an external.

update: dont forget to delete DA3.Splash.xex. btw i have only just applied the tu and played for a while without problems.

  6. To play DLC you need TU2 and to avoid the "Game has been updated and is incompatible" error message upon launch you need to boot from game.xex and not default.xex.

When tried booting game from cover flow from game.xex it would get fatal crash. Others have had success however, but for me no. Anyhow being able to play this game from GOD without dirty disc error is a revelation.

Finally got it working though not how you would expect. No matter what I tried game would not boot from game.xex from cover flow (got fatal crash error) but did boot from fsd3 file manager.

    Here's what I did-

1.install the internal data (00000001) from disc (has to be disc for this part).
2.install game from disc in nxe
3.convert to god with NXE2god whilst still in nxe dash.
4.fsd3 scan path is set to find xbla only in content/0000000000000000 so i went to XBLA cover flow found the far cry 4 cover and moved game to xbox 360 section cover flow.
5.game boots fine as god from internal content folder (well nxe2god worked not tested this theory with god made on pc.

learn something new every day eh lol

So no messing with xex or error from god dirty disc error and TU2 and all dlc seems to be good.

    layout of my files-
Hdd1/Content/0000000000000000/555308CA/00007000/A987AE49211B15BE3BF93ACE08BF0610.data/ all the nxe2god data files here  6.84 GB
    Hdd1/Content/0000000000000000/555308CA/00007000/A987AE49211B15BE3BF93ACE08BF0610  the launch file
Hdd1/Content/0000000000000000/555308CA/00004000/ nothing in here as think it was the old nxe disc install that gets moved to 00007000 when you use nxe2god
Hdd1/Content/0000000000000000/555308CA/00000002/ DLC and Season Pass here
Hdd1/Content/0000000000000000/555308CA/00000001/ installation1 3.66 GB (this is the content installed from the physical disc)
    Hdd1/Content/0000000000000000/555308CA/000B0000/ tu00000002_00000000 322.93 MB title update 2 (from XBUC)

Yes it takes up more room (6.84 GB + 3.66 GB) but it boots from GOD and for me no error with the TU2.

UPDATE: I deleted the 00000001 folder and game still plays from GOD :)

  9. this game only works by xex file manipulation.

i see some of your screenshots are wrong.some of you have included the installation folder and that is wrong. you need the files folders within the installation folder to be moved to the root of your far cry 4 folder and game.xex renamed to default.xex.

if you installed data to content folder on jtag then delete it as it's not needed as all the video files and sound files are now all in 1 place (far cry 4 folder).

I have made a BAT file which will create a ISO file from your extracted xex, which you can then convert to a GOD container (included are instructions and jpeg),

  10. god don't work only xex works just like watchdogs.

i included the location of the hd content as some people might have installed this from disc and so won't need the internal hd content as there playing from manipulated xex files.

also i noticed the 300 MB TU1 from XBUC causes my game to crash so have delted it.i have other small dlc's (56KB ect) but not sure these work without TU1 but probably they do.

thanks for the tutorail.i have followed your steps but i got stuck at loading screen.btw i installed the game before doing this but i deleted the installation of far cry 4 after that i coped the installation1 folder content to the disc folder hdd1\games\far cry 4 and i have also deleted language files other then english.please help.sorry for bad english.TIA

hhmmm if you followed my tut exactly it should work. you mean it just hangs on laoding screen?you renamed game.xex to default.xex right?

  11. Renaming game.xex to default.xex is very bad idea because Title Updates will not work.

Just hide/remove default.xex and leave just game.xex as game booter. That way you can play game and use any Title Update in future.

    Already been spoken about -

    http://www.realmodscene.com/index.php?/topic/4401-far-cry-4-ntsc-u-dirty-disc-error-like-watchdogs/

I tried using the 300MB TU1 from XBUC and it causes the game to crash.

It's not necessarily the case altering the game.xex to default.xex will affect TU's as GTA5 uses disc 2 online media id for it TU's even though we use disc 2 or the other way around disc 1.

this game only works this way (xex file manipulation) it's a bit like watchdogs, no god or standard xex file extract works.

i got a few bits of dlc for this but not sure they work, anyone else had any luck with the dlc without a TU1?

  12. thanks for the tutorail.i have followed your steps but i got stuck at loading screen.btw i installed the game before doing this but i deleted the installation of far cry 4 after that i coped the installation1 folder content to the disc folder hdd1\games\far cry 4 and i have also deleted language files other then english.please help.sorry for bad english.TIA

did you also delete default.xex and rename game.xex to default.xex? check out file sizes and and match them to my jpeg in op.

  13. DIRTY DISC ERROR FIX ALL JTAG/RGH USERS PLEASE READ-

This is the only way for JTAG/RGH users to get this game to work. This game needs xex file manipulation to get it working -

Playing disc 2 as a god or xex and your get dirty disc error.

    1) Extract Far Cry 4 (xex format) to a folder called Far Cry 4

    2) Copy the contents of installation1 (not the folder but the files/folders within) to the root of disc

    3) Delete the default.xex

    4) Rename the game.xex to default.xex

    5) If you already installed the data before discovering the dirty disc problem then you can track down the data to delete here-
    Hdd1\Content\0000000000000000\555308CA\

Folder should look as such. (You can delete the non english sound files if you don't need them)
