Original Xbox backwards compatibility Oddworld Stranger's Wrath
PauloKoast replied to Dracinn's topic in Other topics
Each game uses a emulator's profile, if you change the Title ID you can make a game use another profile, and that can make a game work (or not) I used Halo 2's Title ID on Castlevania: Curse of Darkness, and that made the game run at 16:9, that's cool huh? -

There's Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy, Max Payne 2 and I think all GTA games runs at 16:9 too Here's a list: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Xbox_games_with_HD_support Hello, I'll try to change the Media ID of the game to see if it run too, tell me what Title IDs you tried so I don't try to run the game with it I tried: - Max Payne 2; - Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee; - Halo 1; - Scarface; - Tony Hawk Pro Skater 4. None worked =( -

Maybe, you should try it -
Sometimes it go to the original Dashboard, sometimes the Xbox don't send any signal to the TV until Aurora or FSD is loaded I think this does not have something to do with HDD slowness, because I can select "Xbox Dashboard" on the Xbox Menu and it goes to FSD
-
It's more weird because I can see the freestyle plugin was loaded because there is "Freestyle Home" and stuff in the Xbox menu What the hell
-
Now other problem appeared When I boot the console without my TV being on the console goes to the official dashboard instead of FSD lol
-
Just reflashed my Xbox with No HDMI wait option and it's working like a charm, it even boots without the need to turn on the TV Thanks again
-
There's an option for it on XeBuild Gui, right? Thanks for answering
-
So, as the title says, my Xbox 360 only turns on when I click on the power on button and after that I turn on my television. If I turn on my TV first it simply does not boot. TV problem? Xbox problem? HDMI cable problem?
-
Is your Xbox connected to internet through a ethernet cable or through wi-fi? I use a ethernet cable, and if you do so disconnect the cable and log off from the wi-fi connection When I have a wi-fi connection selected and I'm using a ethernet cable my Xbox takes a loot of time to boot
-
Then I'm out of luck lol
-
It stucks at fat mount uda0 too
-
Now I really gave up, this took me so much time, I don't know why I even tought it was a good idea, I don't know nothing about coding and stuff If I want to play N64 games I'll just use the crappy V0.96 lol
-
I ran your script and installed everything, what should I do now? Follow the rest of the tutorial and get NetBeans?
-
So... I have been trying to install the Toolchain but something happens when GCC is installing I followed the instructions here: http://free60.org/wiki/Xenon_Toolchain#Full_process_of_installation And I can't install this "libgmp4-dev" because it says it could not be found Here's what I'm getting at build.log:
-
I'm installing Debian on VirtualBox at the moment, hehe
-
I can't even install the Cygwin stuff required, I think I'll give up lol
-
I was trying to use the V0.992 version, and I got V0.993 working because it does not uses USB and DVD, and just shows my HDD But when I try to run a rom it returns to the Xell blue screen How can I recompile 0.993 version without the DVD code? EDIT: I'm following Free60's tutorial to install Xenon Toolchain, I'll check other tutorials too
-
Yes, mupen64-360 folder and xenon.elf in the same folder, right? Mupen64-360 V0.96 works fine
-
I tried running it through everything: USB, HDD, DVD, and none worked =( I don't know if you're the person who do this, but did you check the new dashboard update, Swizzy? I asked on Xbox Support what's new on it and they said it adds some stability stuff
-
Any new news on that?
-
FileZilla
-
Nope, but I wanted to play some games on Mupen64-360.
-
Sure, I'll just send this pic to everyone:
-
Nice! Aurora will kick ass in my 360 when it haves ConnectX and SMB, for now I just like to mess around with it. =) Why can't I send more than 4 files at the same time through FTP? I always send 5 through FSD... And you guys should encourage people to upload Xbox Live Indie Games covers! Like, upload 5 XBLIG covers and win a piece of cake
