Hello people,

Just wondered if there is a work around for the problem I'm having?

I've got a r-jtagged 360 running FSD3 with an internal 1TB HDD I've partioned to allow playing of Xbox original games, anyway the game has been made into GOD format but when I click to play the game I get an error which reads 'The VGA HD AV Cable does not support the Pal 50 setting' goes onto say about connecting a composite or advanced scart blah blah (error X:5829.0 B5829.0).

Is there a workaround for this as the VGA cable I use has been run in through trunking to the back of my tv and is a pain to swop? I will be altering all my home cinema equipment in the future and will swap it to HDMI so another question is will I still get the same error?

It might be available on Xbox Live before release, it happens all the time... idk about this early ahead, but... when i bought GOW3 i got it the day before launch it was already updating, ppl working in game stores MAY already have access to the game... or... ppl writing reviews etc. for the games... those ppl can easily go online and get the updates before the game is released to the public if the developers found and fixed a bug after the game development deadline...(the games are ussually done over a month before they're "released" to the public, that is to be able to create all the discs etc. in time to send to stores etc. so they can actually release the game...)

Title Updates are mostly for fixing things :-) lol

I went inside this file and it looks like preparation for upcomming DLC.

Yeah know wot ya mean about the TU's being for fixin bugs and stuff but Ghost's not out until 5th Nov worldwide so as we stand we don't know what its supposed to fixing and this TU wont even be out over live either???

Just scanning through jqe360 for latest TU's and it shows there's one out for COD Ghosts already at 103.4mb, which from the media ID is disc one.

Any ideas what this one's for?

With the Billion router both console A and B can play along on the same link game pal

You should've mentioned the whole problem before. If you want 2 consoles to join each other on the same network, just turn off the Link option from fsd/plugin settings.

As Swizzy said think Stu wants to be able to use both consoles on Link (if I'm reading it right?)

Can anyone please advise a  suitable router for use on LiNK. I am currently using a Dlink 2740B but it does not support port reflection as my 2 consoles cannot see each other to join if one tries to start a game. They can join other games on link fine just not start one. All tests pass in link but i was told on here previously it is a port reflection issue and there is no options in my router for NAT reflection.

I had a Netgear router with 2 consoles on my home network but only one could connect to Link at a time and neither could see each other on Link. The Netgear recently failed so I treated myself to a Billion 7800N router. It isn't the cheapest router out there but it's superb, super stable and highly customizable (remember to port forward) this worked no problems for the 2 consoles and now can see, host and join with both on the home network pal and within Link.

This does seem to have something to do with routers. Everything working fine with my old wrt54g running tomato. Upgraded to a dlink dir-868l and its been a no go for me. diffrent ports, diffrent internal ip address. Can see each other in the system link room but no longer able to see each other in the game room.

Think your right about the routers.

I've got 2 xbox's on my home network and when I had my Netgear DG843GT (DG Team firmware installed) I couldn't connect on Link with each other, my Netgear recently failed so purchased the Billion 7800N and once the router was configured for port forwarding and such I can now play against each other on the same network, no settings altered on each xbox with FSD which at the time was version 735. I've updated to 775 and can still connect no probs. Think its defo something to do with what router you have.

I installed the rev 735, but by pressing the guide button of the controller does not seem to me the words "system link" etc. ... why? I have the typical entries in the dash microsoft. I did the offline installation and test for access to the link. Solution? Thanks.

Have you enabled Link in the plugin settings?
