just need to put the OMU inn the correct spot on the internal hard drive and you're set

nothing wrong with using the original dash either , as long as your dashlaunch settings are correct you wont connect to Live, which would cause you the issues...i have family settings set to block connecting to Live as well

if on the latest dash go to tv&movies....my video apps....system video player..then if you have ICS setup you should see your laptop

Maybe if it STANDS out it will stick better in someones mind. Just my theory.

yes , like i said doing it right now , streaming from my desktop, but i can also do it from my laptop

as long as you internet connection sharing setup you can do it, doesn't use Live at all, usually you would use Live to get the OMU

i'm doing it right now and i don't use media center...you don't need Live either..it's internet connection sharing

you do it exactly the same as you would with a stock console, just need the Optional Media Update on the console so the actual videos play

press the big X (xbox button)and go to video player

are you turning Devlink on or Devkit on

devlink is in network settings in dashlaunch

i think everyone is NAT strict... everyone i know playing is..i am , but still able to get good games

try turning Link to always off in settings ...see if that helps...it is easy to turn off and on

before the update the linked fine. they are goung through a router. i downgraded back to fsd 3 v58 and it works. upgraded both back to the beta. now systemlink between the 2 doesnt work again

go into the plugin settings for link and turn Link to always OFF....see if that helps

in the info on updating it tells you to power off the console not just restart FSD

also tells you that you might need to port forward in your router settings

seems like a lot of people haven't bothered to read before updating

looks to me like you have removed all those files out of the folder they belong in

you seem to have the launcher file there , but all those data files should be a folder with the same name as the launcher file

i was having issues with people talking....lol.....so..i just disabled voice recognition

maybe you need to update your actual dash version to something higher than 14719 , that would be a start

or disconnect your kinect when not using it

weird because i have 2 consoles set up exactly the same way with F3 and it is only doing it with one.... thinking it might be a dashlaunch setting...thought that Fakelive had to be 'true' for indie games to be picked up...would Signnotice = true make a difference too....

but i will make that change anyway, and change my scan depths just to make sure...doesn't really hurt though, except when kids open the wrong section...lol

they are in the same depth as games so that wont help...have already tried it

just a small issue that's probably easily fixed but for some reason all my DLC is appearing in my Homebrew menu

overall i'm finding F3 great , lil bit of freezing but nothing major...working fine on a different console though

any help is appreciated
