My friend was having the same issue with his system, he said he had to play without a disc in the dvd tray. Not sure if you have tried with or without disc?

Thank you again for the assistance, the game installed by accepting the "update" which didn't really run/install from what I was able to tell. I'm good thou   Wonder why it wanted to update? It hasnt ask to update in the past when installing DLC from discs and I didn't change any settings.

 I do have the avatar update installed plus the game update for "Skyrim" from Aurora and I also have "noupdater" enabled by default? Updating from the disc is not recommended, right?

  Updated my trinity to 17502 and Dash Launch to 3.17 also using Aurora. I am trying to install my Skyrim expansion pack disc 2 but the disc keeps asking for an update before the install. What was the setting that I needed to enable/disable in order to proceed  with the install? Was it fake live? I enabled it but the update keep wanting to update? I have Xbox live blocked on the MS dash so that it never reaches out for system updates.

Yes its not a big deal seeing other disc and having an option to hide them. I also have wolfenstein TNO but I have only 3 disc showing up as I removed the first "install" disc(I think).  I know the team behind Aurora works hard and I appreciate their time and effort in building the Aurora interface. I also know not everything is possible. My post is just an idea more than a request. I love Aurora and I'm anxious to see what new feature and stability the next update will bring.

 So the idea would look like this "in theory",

When you scroll through your game library, if you come across a game like final fantasy that has 3 discs, you see all 3 discs display next to each other. Could a setting be added to Aurora so that when you have a game with multi-disc, instead of seeing the other additional disc you can scroll down or up on the game #1 disc and see the other game disc. I know I can hide games but this would be different. Not so much by hiding them but being able to get to that second or third disc through a vertical hidden sub menu?

The XDK(Xbox Development Kit) I googled and saw a actual xbox360. Can music be added on pc with software? I don't necessarily want to make my own skin from scratch, I just want to add a sound track and maybe background of my family and I(Family Pic).

I am able to get all 360 covers and synopsis, I can get all XBLA synopsis but can't get the art covers. I am on current dash, using current dash launch and using current aurora ver.

Edit: Removed and reinstalled Aurora and I'm getting everything DL now. Not sure what could have been blocking connection to covers.

 I looked up on how to retail my system and thats when I saw that the KV would be an issue if flashed and maybe the (******* ERROR: hacked or unknown SMC binary found? you should use a clean SMC binary for a retail image!) error was an indicator that it was. I don't have my original files when before my system was serviced.

 I am asking as I was trying to flash a nand back to retail but got this message from jrunner. Read that you can't flash back to stock if KV has been flashed. I don't recall doing it, but don't know if FSD3/Aurora does it automaticlly.

I got this error, must mean the KV was flashed?

Besides DDSConverter/SkinMetaGenerator/XZP tool, do I need the one called "Xbox UI Tool"? I don't want to create a whole new skin, just want to edit one a bit? I saw"Xbox UI Tool" on a tutorial video.

 I wil have to try and adjust/replace the module when I get in toady. If that doesn't change the situation, would another nand dump and flash be suggested?

 I had tried with a differnt ribbon cable/face plate and it didn't work. After I disassembled (remove the outer shell) the system I tried to eject with the media contol (no eject button) and it still boots to the dash.

Sorry, you mean the module with the LED and usb ports, not the face plate, right?

Sorry, its a slim. It worked like it should when I had the CR3 in it. I changed it because I was getting long boot times from it(min not sec). Now I get under 7-25sec boots.

I recently updated my trinity's CR 3 rev C to a CR4 XL. I was able to rebuild the nand, get the cpu key and flash the nand. The system boots and I am able to play games (FSD3/Aurora). So then I tried to rip a game into the 360 and when I hit the eject button the system crashed. I powered off and tried to eject the disc and that’s when I noticed the system doesn't boot Xell Reloaded.

I disassembled the 360 and readjusted the ribbon cable and even swapped it out with another, didn’t work. The eject button only powers the system on, fan doesn't spin, chip doesn't try to glitch. I have to unplug system to turn off at this point. I am able to eject the tray with a media control while the system is off, the weird thing is that it boots to the dash/FSD3/Aurora every time instead of Xell. I can eject the tray while the system is on with the media control and the system won't crash.

I apologize if this isn't where to search for help on topics like this. I searched the forums and found some help questions so I went ahead and asked.

Would this also get screen shots and trailers for Aurora? I only have covers.

Inside the aurora file manager go to your HDD1 then go to Content\0000000000000000. Select that as the path and youll see your XBLA and your xbox games that have been installed.

Follow this guide, its right on the main menu: "Aurora Asset Editor - A Graphic editor for Aurora" read through it and it will help you with your question.

I had a simular issue with crackdown. I had to reinstall it from the dvd but instead of installing to my external, I installed it into the internal HDD. All pro football 2k8, I can't have a second controller on or game won't work. And sometimes I have to boot the system without the external connected or my games won't work(I connect it after its fully booted). Try some of these methonds and see if one might work for you.

 Yes, that exactly what happens to my game library. When it rescan's, it rescan's things on how they were and not what I change them to. My ultra street fighter goes back to the super street fighter cover along with other games. Thinking of re-installing Aurora to see if it helps. I also change the names directly on the content.db file to see if that's any different versus renaming game titles in Aurora itself.

 I'm signed in when this happens, my gamertag is set to auto sign in. For my content.db I was editing it for the purpose of game description only. I didn't touch anything else on the file. I know this isn't a major error or glitch, just can't figure out the real cause or setting behind it.

 After I add a new/old game to my Aurora game library all the data resets(renamed games,custom covers via xboxunity) even the second disc games I hide show up. All the editing I have done is in Aurora dashboard. The method I have been using to add games is:

Ripped to PC (my disc drive skips) transfer to external HDD, then depending on the game type, I either transfer to my internal HDD or keep on the external HDD. Should I be doing all editing through Aurora asset editor instead of the dash board options?
