  1. This is most likely why you are having issues, set separate paths for each content type (xbla, homebrew, 360 games) and set it to that specific content type. Also don't set the scan depth deeper then it needs to be.

  2. Well, the original fans pull hot air out so I think the best bet would be to force more air (cool) into the box in the first place but the choice is yours and I'm sure someone will disagree with me :p

  3. Here is a monster update to compliment yesterday's LT Ultimate fw news.

Going out with a bang for sure Posted Image

Note: All nonsense and garbage posts 9including posts asking for release dates and prices of things) will be deleted and accounts probably deleted. If you want to post shit either join facebook or use some other forums where they don't give a damn about quality control.

    NEWS #1: CR3 PRO

It's been 6 months in the making (no thanks to several motherboard/dashboard revisions during our development time), and now after an exhaustive test run, the CR3 Pro is ready for public consumption.

This is aimed at users who demand the highest RGH performance possible and the ability to tune their settings to an extreme level.

The first release of CR3 Pro is designed for slims only. The full kit includes new V3 QSB's for Trinity, Corona v1 (16MB Hynix TSOP) and v2 (4GB Phison BGA) (These are also available to buy separately for use with legacy CoolRunners Rev A, B & C and also the CR3 Lite and a Phat version V3 QSB kit is also available - See News #5). A Brand new POST V2 for complete monitoring and tuning using the new CR3 Pro Rater software is also included (J-R Programmer v2 required - See News #6)

Note: For Corona v2 (4GB) Nand Read/Write you will need the 4GB RW Kit.

The CR3-DGX is an add-on that connects to the CR3 Pro. We have been working on this bad boy for some time - it's really kick-ass and only made possible by the high level of accuracy and timing of the CR3 Pro.

    Features:

    • Fast Recovery of CPU/DVD Key from 2.0.15572.0 - Tested on Trinity, Corona v1 & Corona v2 (4GB)
    • Fast Recovery of CPU/DVD Key from 2.0.15574.0 - Tested on Trinity, Corona v1 & Corona v2 (4GB)

NEW 2 Version with Full POSt Monitoring and CR3 Pro Rater Support. Also includes speed enhancements (2-3 minutes faster than JRP v1 !)

The new TX J-R Programmer V2 has been created to cater to the budget conscious and coded to work hand in hand with the latest version of the J-Runner app.

A third of the size of the TX NAND-X and optimized to run faster than any other USB-SPI based tool (Example Speeds: Others average 16M read 7m 20s, JRP v2 average 16M read 3mins), this nifty tool can fully read/write NAND over SPI, program CoolRunners or any Xilinx based RGH device over USB and also able to program onboard sounds using the TX SONUS 360 !

Complete with a CR JTAG cable so you simply plug 'n program without any soldering using the latest J-Runner App (needs to be at least Build 283). Also comes with NAND installation wires that have the connectors that are compatible with the NAND-X QSB boards. If you don't use the QSB's you can simply cut off the connectors and do a normal wires only install.

RED LED: Bootloader Mode (Switch to the left)

  4. first post pardon the noobness, I just ftp(d) fs3 on my 360 had/still have 2.2 on my ihdd, I went into dashlaunch and changed the default to the fs3 default.xex path however anytime I shutdown my console and boot back up it always goes back to 2.2. I didnt want to remove 2.2 until I knew I would launch into fs3 everytime. I have already set my file paths and everything is working well in fs3 I jsut want to make sure I boot to it at each launch.

be sure to save your ini after pointing it to F3

PS3 CFW users will be very happy to hear that Rogero has released his latest version of his CFW and it now brings 4.30 support, but that's not all folks. DeanK has also updated MultiMAN and SHOWtime has been updated by Andoma.

    ROGERO CEX-4.30 V1.00 / MULTIMAN VER 04.08.01 / SHOWTIME 04.01.208

  7. F3 seems to crash after about 1 minute browsing a game library. Happens every time I use F3. Last action seems to be 'TextureCAche'

Cant seem to be able to attach the word file. The whole log is very big so will post the last section in the next post. I can post the whole log if it helps.

    Can anyone please help.

    UPDATE

It seems to happen only when browsing my XBLA library.

It would seem that you are trying to load some corrupt artwork and that is causing the issue. Remove the XBLA path and then re-add it and re download all art. Be sure to leave the xbox alone and let it download all the art before you start messing around with it again.

F3 is now crashing every time when it first boots up. It was trying to download new covers for a few games that I had just added. Every time it crashed I say "Try to Continue" and the number of items (new covers) to be downloaded decreases by one or two. It did that several times and the number of items is staying at 1 now. I may just reinstall F3 it to see if the problem goes away. Damned strange. F3 was rock solid prior to this problem which now happens every time I boot up.

    Disable scan on startup.

  8. Ok, well i was on mM 2.09 updated to 4.06.02, maybe didnt need to. But anyways. How do i do this:

2- Always make a NOR/Nand dump using multiMAN or memdump before installing any CFW to have a recovery backup in case of any bricks.

On another note, before updating mM i could play ghost of sparta fine. now it just loads n goes to black screen. mar vs cap 2 boots fine. only games i have installed on hdd

    To dump NAND/NOR: mmOS->Select any file->Open in HEX viewer->[sELECT]->[sTART]->DUMP LV2(NO)->DUMP LV1(NO)->DUMP FLASH(YES)

Since I'm on 3.55 CFW Kmeaw at the moment, I assume that I can just do a straight upgrade... or do I have to be on a previous Rogero CFW?

you should be fine updating directly from Kmeaw

  9. do a fresh install, make sure all drives are available when settings scan paths, make sure scan depth is correct for your folder structure and while F3 is scanning and downloading art DO NOT USE THE XBOX, just leave it alone and let it do it's thing.
