  1. maybe it's just me there is pretty stupid both i dont understand the installation guide.. maybe becouse iam from a non english speaking country.. so i would like to get a little help here if some one have the time to guide me :) !.. i've made a lot of rgh, deamon and so on, and updating rgh dash.. so it shoutend be that hard.. i think ;) .. so here it goes..

    1) Copy over all files in the archive to the HDD or USB of the 360.

    2) Edit your launch.ini to have fakeanim = point to the fakeanim.xex

    3) Reboot the console and make sure the application runs. Ignore the Red Screen being present for a while.

    4) Once you have verified the application is launched remove bootanim.xex** from the consoles Flash. (Use FS3 or FTP).

    5) Reboot the console and pay attention to how long the red screen is displayed.

    6) Calibration takes place in the fakeanim.ini file and should be checked with a cold boot in order to force the GPU to initialize.

    7) Once calibration is complete edit the fakeanim.ini and set calibration to 0

    _________________________________________________________________________________________________________

1 witch files, the ones from the zip / rar file containing the fakeanim? - if fakeanim were to put them or do they have to be on game hdd / usb pind all time?.

    2. is it the launch.ini from when i created the rgh image in j-runner or can i do it on the xbox ( got the dashlunch 3.3 and fsd3 ) and what and were to type it?

    4. bootanim from the consoles flash, is it the rgh image or can i do it on the xbox? - if i can do it on xbox / pc then how?

    1) The Fakeanim folder inside the zip, put that anywhere on your xbox (hdd or usb)

    2) edit the launch.ini that is on your xbox, the one that dashlaunch is using for settings on startup. You can just run the dashlaunch installer and edit the setting in there but be sure to save the settings after.

    3) or 4) lol

the bootanim.xex in your nand, you can access it vis F3 filemanager or FTP if you enable Advanced filemanager in your F3 settings

    * 2.086 *

    *********

    - Removed: No additional checks are made for additional patches (apart from NOHDMI patch, which can really only be applied to any motherboard apart from xenon anyways) this should fix errors here…

    - Fixed: Finally fixed that display bug with Xell icon not beeing shown properly for RGH 2.0…

    - Fixed: F*ing jasper failsafe keeps beeing gay… >_< fixed now… once and for all!

    - Updated: Now using Dashlaunch 3.04

    - Updated: The system update xml have been updated with the new location for the 16197 update (since it was verified to be final we’ve moved it to the regular folder rather then beta)

** NOTE: Many minor fixes has been done lately, and NO this release does NOT support corona v2, despite what news sites states since last update… it’ll be fully supported in v3.0, but i don’t really feel like updating 2.0 aswell with this shit… i added failsafe disable so pro’s can still be lazy (like myself) **

** NOTE: If anyone of you complain about minor shit that is useless and/or having to wait for 3.0 for proper support for everything, go make your own tool, i do this for free and release my full source… meaning you have everything you need to make your own tool…

  3. When a TU is set to active it will copy it'self to the appropriate location on game launch, some games like rockband I believe require more then one active TU depending on the DLC you want to be available. In cases like this (Multiple active TU's) F3 will copy all active TU's to the appropriate location and the game will then sort out which it wants to load.

As for the batch script to download all TU's.... won't happen. That will put far to much strain on our server and for no reason at all. Most people have a very large library of games but only play a few of them.

  5. jpizzle im confused , show me what it would look like in a launch.ini file and where do i open the dashlaunch installer app , i have installed the fsd3 and after it updated to the new 3.03 dashlaunch , gives me options to do like network and other things with inableing and disableing of stuff , i really want to do this but i think i am going to need more help , please someone help , was able to finally be able to see the flash in the file manager so leaving that alone until i have everything else in place first , please help , also how do i make my own bootanimation ?

Open dashlaunch installer(the app you used to install dashlaunch), the first menu is paths, open it. Scroll down to the bottom of the paths menu and you will see Fakeanim, press A, navigate to wherever you saves fakeanim.xex and press A on fakeanime.xex.

now you need to make sure you save the changes, press RB and highlight the device that contains your launch.ini, press X to save. Press B

TeamFSD has always been on the cutting edge of the 360 scene, we released the first ever Kinect Homebrew bringing full motion and voice control to the leading alternative dashboard. In the first release of F3 we also brought you coverflow, a visually stunning 3d cover games list display that amazed users with it's fluid motion. Since then we have been hard at work on the next great evolution in 360 gaming and it gives us great honor to present to you today... LiNK

LiNK is a syslink multiplayer solution with direct xbox to xbox connection, no need to setup any software on your pc at all. Our internal testing has gone outstandingly well and we will begin larger closed beta testing soon.

    It's Game Time...

    LiNK

  7. Open dashlaunch installer app, you will see the fake anim option in there, point it to the fakeanim xex file

As for viewing flash, you need to enable the advanced filemanager option in F3, it's in the settings menu.

  8. MOH WarFighter disc one is MultiPlayer and HD Content only, extract the ISO and move the resulting Content folder to your Hdd1.

There is no need to have disc one in your games list or in your Games folder, this is why the plugin is not working for you.

  9. It’s that time again to update you on our progress. We’ve been focused on two things — making OUYA, and talking with great game developers who are excited about OUYA.

    GAMES, GAMES, GAMES:

I’ve done a lot of globetrotting lately to talk to developers. Since our last update, I bounced from IndieCade in Southern California, to GDC Online in Austin, Texas, then over to London (via video chat) for DroidconUK!

I’ve met a ton of talented developers who are just as excited about OUYA as you and I. In fact, some of you have recognized me (and, at times, my twin sister) on the street!

    LET’S TALK HARDWARE:

We’re still going full-steam ahead. We’ve been refining OUYA’s hardware design (cosmetics, mechanicals, electricals, thermals etc.). We’ve spent most of this time in the design phase, as getting it right up front saves us a lot of redesign and iteration later. We’ve had some of the best engineers and designers take a look at every design element and fine tune it. Our CAD models and SLAs (plastic prototypes that provide us with a physical look and feel of the product) are finished, and we moved out of the design phase and into development a couple of weeks ago.

Last week was a huge milestone for us — we received our first development run of PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards) for the console. This is the heart (and we believe the soul) of the OUYA experience. It’s pretty amazing how our engineers have packed in Quad-Core awesomeness into such an unbelievably small package (any guesses on how small the PCB actually is?). All the hard work in refining the design has paid off in spades — the first boards came to life without any hitches, and we’re now fine tuning software and hardware performance for graphics, wireless, and user experience! W00t.

We are now in what’s referred to in the industry as the EVT (Engineering Verification Testing) phase.

Have a look at our PCB:

    Posted Image

During the EVT phase, we’ll be testing both the console and the controller with our OUYA software. We’ll continue to verify our design and push the performance limits of our software. We’ll go through a couple more EVT build phases, as we weed out issues and refine the design for optimal performance and large-scale manufacturing, before we start cranking out OUYAs.

So, awesome news: we’re set to complete this EVT phase on time, and we’re in sync with our December target for developer kits. Since these dev kits are still in pre-production phase, we’ll build a limited quantity. Each one will be a collector’s item — unique in design, build and appearance. (So, they’ll look different from the consumer-ready units.)

    SO LONG, ICE CREAM SANDWICH:

I’m happy to announce OUYA will run on Android Jelly Bean, the newest version of the Android operating system. We’re making the jump from the old version, Ice Cream Sandwich, to ensure that we’re running on the most up-to-date software available. You asked if it could be done, we looked into it, and we made it happen.

    SPEAKING OF DEVELOPER KITS:

If you’re a game developer and you want to start making games for OUYA, our OUYA Software Developer Kit (ODK) is coming soon, but in the meantime, there’s a lot you can do to get started. We’ve posted some information for developers that should help you prepare for the launch of your new game or app on OUYA.

If you missed the Kickstarter drive, but you’re still interested in an early version of the console that you can use as a Dev Kit, you’re in luck. We’re making a few extra. Please visit www.ouya.tv in the near future and order one (we’ll let you know when it’s available). Of course, they won’t carry the same rewards as the Kickstarter Dev Kits, but you will receive a console, two controllers and early access to test your game on OUYA! These units will start shipping in the new year. Note that these kits will not include the final console user interface or any games, they’re purely for game developers who want to test their games on real OUYA hardware.

    USERNAMES ON THE HORIZON:

WOW, over 60,700 of you provided us your username by October 12th (the Kickstarter survey deadline). Thank you! Within the next few weeks, we’ll start sending out links so you can login to the upcoming OUYA user portal, review your username, verify your account info, change your shipping info and more.

If you had a username issue (like you didn’t read the rules or you picked the same username as someone else who backed earlier than you), or you didn’t reserve your username within the two-week reservation window, don’t worry. You’ll still get early access to reserve your username before the general OUYA populace.

    INTERESTING FACT:

While we’re on the subject of users and backers, I thought it would be cool to give a shout out to our very first Kickstarter backer.

Robert Gaal — are you in the house!? I just learned that you, and not anyone from my team, friends, or family, were our FIRST BACKER. Rock on! Thanks, Robert.

As always, if you have any questions, comments or props (props are always good), please reach out to us at support@ouya.tv, or through Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, G+ or the Kickstarter comments board.

Until next time, take care, keep calm and OUYA on,

    Julie

P.S. Happy Halloween. And if you want to dress up as a Ruby on Rails developer this year, and you want a job at OUYA — we’re still hiring. Hit us up at jobs@ouya.tv.
