You guys we're right. Tested it in Black Ops 2 last night and it worked, even if the test does not work
Thx
Least you got it sorted

dude asked
so i assumed he wanted to know just about external drives, and that's why i said that about being two max
anyways...

format a usb on the xbox, if its a 2gb usb stick, partition about 200mb of it.
Use horizon to copy xexmenu over onto it and put the fsd files via the "my computer"
on ur xbox, load xex menu then copy fsd over to the hdd, and then boot it.
-
If you have a RGH/JTAG I wouldn't worry about that. They'll just ban your console (woopie doo)
if you installed the lastest dashboard, you'll need to install the latest dashlaunch... if you want to feel safe while doing this, disconnect the xbox from your network
-
Somehow I suspect that neither your internal hdd nor your inbuilt memory are connected to your Xbox via USB...Weren't we talking about external units?Sent from my Windows Phone using Tapatalk, at work and while on the porcelain express, where wired keyboards don't reach
You said "actually the amount of STORAGE devices allowed is just two"
I was just correcting you
-
A correction: actually the amount of STORAGE devices allowed is just two; you can use the remaining ports for peripherals and whatnot, but only the first two storage units recognized will be available, be it fatx, fat32 or whatever, the rest will simply not appear
At least that's true for coronas...
Sent from my Windows Phone using Tapatalk
Internal HDD (2TB), inbuilt memory (4GB) and 2 usb (16GB) always shows for me.
At least that's true for Trinities
I think he wants the usb hdd's just for games, doesn't necessarily need to show up as a "storage device" as long as FSD can read the paths
Sent from my computer using a mouse and keyboard

Of course try join a game first (popular game preferred that has people playing) then move onto the next steps like DMZ

Thanks... but ik would like to know what i have to write in the external port and internal port, which is not in the tutorial linked
What ever ports your using for link....
-
Look what I found on google by searching "how to open ports on linksys ea3500" ...
It includes "basic" steps and a ... video

yes.
why ask this question when you could have just plugged it into your xbox and see what happens?
I think you can have as many as 3 usb devices. This is all the xbox accepts.
When your xbox boots it may not boot your USB in the same order (1tb hard drive can be USB0, 2tb hard drive can be USB1 then in the next reboot it could switch ove, down to whatever the console detects first.- so you're better off with one) but your choice.

no
you won't be able to use rockstar social club on your RGH.
-
jezzz... have you not used the search on this site or google... tutorials what to do on this!!!
You need to install the content from Disc 1 then use disc 2 to play ffs
-
what version your on is in the credits.
Its one of the tabs - go look for it (get familiar with FSD)
- 2
-
you need to reupload the content folder
horizon is showing you the horizon's cached files.
-
are you scanning the same path twice?
-
Also... RGH has random boot times, sometimes my xbox takes 7 seconds to power up and boot into FSD, othertimes it takes 30-60 seconds
Plugging in additional usb devices, as Momin Salar says, it will take additional time to boot and index the contents of both devices, and with the amount of data you have on them as it is - don't be surprised its taking a long time.
My advice, plug them in afterwards
-
u only need the latest. the latest will have all the older ones built in
-
K I fixed it.First I connected the Xbox to the NetUnplugged the kinect from consolePlugged it back inIt gave me an update required to use kinect. At this point I freaked because I was in fear it'd mess things up. I decided to hit yes and let it proceedOnce done the system rebooted and my kinect games worked.Problem solved.
Hang on... you got an update from xbox live and it didn't brick your console?
-
Orginal dash won't get covers (deal with it)
If you want the covers, u need FSD... when u have ur games listed, if it doesn't get a cover automatically press Y select Refresh Artwork - wait a moment
-
check your xbox kernel, then get the system update for that same kernel and apply it
if your box is connected to live then you've much to learn
you need to block xbox live updates
-
the dlc folder needs to go to the official path. this is also used for the mandatory install.
Content0000000000000000545408A700000002
also, there is suppose to be 4 files for the mandatory install
-
if you tried to update your xbox kernel and the xbox froze you may ned it reflashed.
If nothing happens when you press the eject button (No blue screen) you'll need to take it back to your JTager/rgher
-
Just get a 16gb usb stick or just get a hard drive
-
sure you can do it that way, either way, you need to update
i cant play from USB 3.0 drive
