  1. Can you verify that there's nothing else using that IP Address you've set it to manually?

The original IP was .107 I figured maybe someone took that ip since there are a lot of devices connecting on my wifi. So i changed to 50 so no one would get that IP.

Still not working. I changed it to 109 just in case .50 is too far away.

What else could possible be the reason for this? :(

  2. Ok its been weeks i havent played in system link. I was passing the port test just fine before. And if it was failed, i would just change ports and restart my modem and thats it.

All of a sudden, im failing the test. I just changed the wifi password and thats it. Of course i also changed the password on the xbox.

Tried changing the static ip. Still failing.

I could see the rss feed on the system link when i open Bo2. And i can see the rooms and join them. But still not passing the ports.

    What do you think?

  3. Ask this guy

    http://www.realmodscene.com/index.php?/topic/3220-upnp-router-not-found-but-passed-all-test/

Im sure he already solved the problem.

I would set all new up, If nothing helps.

1.) setup static IP for your xbox

2.) forward 2 Ports for UDP and TCP to your Xbox IP

3.) connect again with your Unity account and retrieve the API Key again. (Change password or create a new account if you have to)

    4.) Do a verification test.

5.) download latest TU for the game to test.

Try enabling UPNP in Aurora and do the test again if it did not work without it.

Try other Ports if one or both Ports fail.

lol thats funny cause IM that guy who posted that. Im not sure why i made a different account.

But the jqe360 account is passed on the test thouigh... but ill still try resetting the API key.

ALso, im on FSD and not aurora.

  4. which ports did you use? Did you enable UPNP too? Do you have other xbox with different forwarded ports?

I randomly choose ports. usually when its been days that ive been using the 1000-1001 ports, i'll change it to 2000-2001. easy as that. but not its just weird. Right now im using 8000-8001. Something i havent used before.

UpNP is not enabled i think since in the test, i see "upnp router not found". thats not an issue cause its been like that ever since.

no i dont have other xbox. I set the static ip to 108 so its the last ip. In case my brothers connect with the router, their ip would be in the range of 101-105

(that got me thinking tho, what if someone got a hold of that 108 ip? or the old 107 ip? is that possible?)

update: i changed the xbox static ip to .50 so no other device can have that ip. still not passing the ports.

  5. Maybe you made a nand update recently? I recommed using a fixed/static ip for your xbox. Check your router settings again.

Nah i did not. I did change theme tho but it went right back to default but im sure that isnt the cause. I dont remember doing anything really.

I checked the ip, on the NXE, and its still static. i did change it to a diffent IP to start anew. but it still didnt work

  6. Ok, yeah... no UPNP and no DHCP Options means your console likely changed the IP it have (unless you set it static) this would make the portforwards break as you tell the router "i want all traffic on this port to go to this computer"

Nah I set up a static IP for sure on my xbox cause thats the most important part of setting up system link.

Because i forwarded the ports on that particular IP only.

Hmm.. wait a sec. Now that i remember, i restarted the settings of my modem... and even the password of it so maybe the setttings in the xbox including the static ip got all mixed up??

But i dont know, cause everytime i check the status on FSD, i can see the correct IP adderss where i set the forwarded ports.

edit: ok i tried changing the manual ip on my xbox, and changed the port forwards... still not passing.

  7. Do you have your Consoles IP reserved in DHCP (or are you using static IP's)?

9/10 times when it stops working it's caused by a bad configuration like that, or something with the router/connection changing...

if you used UPNP you might want to clear out any set data there, this should be done by rebooting the router... but... not guaranteed to happen...

I dont think so since theres no dhcp option on my router page.

ive never changed anything recently when it was still working.

i dont use upnp i think cause on the test, it says upnp is not found.

  8. that's just sad even i feel embarrassed :p

you can get good tips from reading walkthrough's ,for instance in the section you've reached throwing a grenade into the water will kill off the croc, however it's not necessary to follow the walkthrough word for word as you can most times find better ways thru in some circumstances, assuming it's not too linear, link below is a walkthrough for docks section, walkthrough's are also handy to find stuff for xtra points

    http://au.ign.com/wikis/far-cry-3/Down_in_the_Docks

Nevermind lol i played it yesternight AND it was not just after that one mission. The 2nd mission was also not saved! Wtf is wrong with this game.

  9. I just finished the Down in the docks mission yesterday. It wasnt an easy mission so after finishing the mission, i manually saved it.

But when i continue the game today, it started again with the mission! Im so mad! this has never happened before.

I tried loading the other save slot which is for the manual save but its just the same.

What do you guys think i should do? Im thinking downloading a game save but im sure its not easy.

Edit: ok i just tried downloading a 100% game save online but i think u cant replay a mission on the game?

  10. Windows does have FTP yes, but you're probably refering to SMB/Samba... the windows share thing... that's also pretty slow... with the FSD Filemanager what you do is you put it on your USB HDD (in the FAT32 partition), then you just copy it on the console from there to the USBMU...

Yes it worked! Gta v is back to normal again! Thank God. Now im thinking if i should get back on installing Alien Isolation. Damn that game gave me a headache!

  11. It's uppercase C and 16 zero's, but yes... it's in the root of the MU iirc...

The best way is to just copy/move your profile to the USBMu, or create a savegame there with a game, then you'll have it generated for you... (well, not the folder with the 0's i guess but, everything else)

You can use party buffalo also, but i still recommend that you use the FSD Filemanager because it uses the Xbox 360 Kernel to deal with it (which means it'll be 100% accurate)... the filemanager isn't slow, the FTP however might be...

Ok then I wont use party buffalo. No i dont ftp... wait ftp is using windows to transfer to the xbox right? I dont do that cause its also slow. I'll just go with FSD then.

Hope it works when i try it now.

  12. It shouldn't, as it's already the correct format, and it does have enough space... but i make no garantuees that it won't...

I just accessed the storage settings on the original xbox dashboard... And I could see the memory unit which is my HDD (where my fsd and games are.). I see "remove xbox 360 storage". Im scared of doing it but kinda positive about doing it since the capacity on the details is only 12Gb. Im thinking its partitioned. And that 12gb is the USBMU and NOT the part where the fsd and my games are?

EDIT: Ok i just removed the storage... AND it didnt deleted fsd and my games! Thank God. That damn Alien game is the worst. I'll probably just now play it. I just need to get my gta v back.
