i played earlier joining in public rooms. i often face a error "unable to join" in groups or public rooms after i select the game from the system link game list.

yeah have been facing the same issue... and updating to dashlaunch 3.05 and dash 16202 doesnt seem to solve the problem. Sometimes iam able to join rooms but cant play game and it gives some error and throws me back to multiplayer screen. Sometimes for eg i select Public room 1, it goes blank in the Hud and if press A again, it crashes and xbox shuts down itself..

Yep had this issue. But guys its beta and i am happy link is fully operational !! Im sure it will be fixed in final release

Well i guess they were picked up from different locations around the world to check ping/lag etc. but hey, its no longer closed now you can try open beta, search the forum n try it out!

and one more thing if you have got it jtag/rgh, i think youve already lost ur microsoft warranty..

you cant, i guess.. u can modify it though. if you want the default xbox nxe, just uninstall fsd..

it would be nice to let someone from my part of the world in beta testing im from india

I don't think the boot screen can be modified - I believe it is hard-coded into F3.

However, I'm sure boot screen modification could be made possible in a future release .

actually you can. Just extract the default.xzp using xzp tool , pick a jpeg of your choice or make one, then download any free jpeg to dds converter software and convert it to "splash.dds". Finally , overwrite the splash.dds file in the extracted xzp folder and build again using the xzp tool.
