Tried today and there isn't lag, perfect for stream it to the PC and have all in one screen.

Stream on the PC the Xbox One using the Xbox App while the One captures the console plugged back to HDMI Input should be a good idea.

Download and install Visual Studio, open the .sln file with it, and press F5, this will compile and run it in debug mode (unless it's got a suo that says to use release)
