Put dip switches 1 & 5 on the S2 dip bank to the ON position with the rest OFF.
-
You can use any ports you want as long as they are not in use by other applications.
-
Title Update downloading works fine here.
Is the F3 plugin enabled (try disabling and enabling it again)?
Have you tried using a clean version of F3 Rev 775?
-
I would however recommend that you leave flash360 and use Simple 360 NAND Flasher instead
Agreed.
I've used your application several times, Swizzy and I'm impressed .
-
You can still use those applications to update your console's NAND image if you want to.
-
sorry for the noob question, first time I will try an update and I want to be sure... lan cable goes between the xbox and my computer?
Yes, but make sure your console and computer are in the same IP range.
Both my console and computer are connected to an ethernet switch.
-
Did you read the tutorial?
It explains everything you need to do.
-
only thing it didn't do was to update my kinect/avatar data, even though i placed the $systemupdate folder inside 16537... i even updated twice (yes, this is *that* fast and secure) to see if something went wrong somewhere, to no avail. anyways, i'll just update the thing manually, it's not hard to do at all
This version of XeBuild will only install system update data to an internal hard drive.
I agree though - image building couldn't be simpler!
-
Do I have to do it with a LAN cable? Can't I just create a wireless ad hoc connection? Just asking, I don't won't to screw sh*t up.
I think this only works with LAN, but don't quote me on that.
-
This works for all models that are RGH right? Mine is a slim. Also, if my internet connection goes down during the process I'll end up screwing my NAND up won't I?
Yes, it works fine with any JTAG or RGH console.
It is done over LAN (this is what updserv is for) - internet access isn't required for this to work.
So it knows if it is a rgh 1 or 2 and jtag or Rgh and so on...just wow ...hey! How about a video tut?
XeBuild will automatically select the image type based on what it reads from the console.
There is a video tutorial in the first post .

ik a good bit, ty anyway, if you say something invalid i will point to where you are wrong, and i did so, if your wrong on a subject ik about you are classified a idoit in my book, dont take it to heart, its my own personal opinion, like you have a opinion of me, i probably seem snobbish and arrogant but i could care less because ik what im talking about. in any case sorry for the hassle, i get offended real easy so if im correct do not try to prove me wrong, and if you dont know something be honest and dont give a invalid answer like you did yesterday.
The fact is you *think* you are correct and you expect everyone else to *think* that you correct - maybe to feel superior?
I have been making posts on here to try and help others out, but you keep getting in the way and posting nonsense.
Why don't you stick to posting Minecraft videos on YouTube and let us carry on providing help and support for members here?

You sound like you know more than you actually do.
JPizzle is a highly respected member of the XBOX 360 scene and I'm sure he's forgotten more than you will ever know.
I replied to your post in that other thread and you called me an idiot - I deal with questions like yours on a daily basis and I am always helping people out with JTAG/RGH issues.
If that makes me or anyone else a c**t then fair enough, but we won't post rubbish information about things we know nothing about .

I have just been speaking to the guys in #FreeStyleDash and they are aware of the problem - it is being looked at .

Sweet - perhaps this will spark an interest in some unfinished libxenon projects! I'm trying my hand at one, but no progress yet :/
I think some of the emulators need an update to support Corona boards.
I like the idea of being able to dump an eMMC NAND image over HTTP (assuming that is the way it works) .
-
im on 16202 and was going to update because rayman legends needs 16203 but then this came up....
Build a 16203 JTAG image.
-
There are no 16537 files available to upgrade with yet.
Nothing requires a kernel version higher than 16203 right now anyway.
Wait for a new XeBuild release.

Is it the original DVD-ROM drive for the console?
-
As far as I know, there isn't a Title Update available for SR4 yet.
Have you tried installing the game from the disc using Metro?
-
xblaexitdash = True
dvdexitdash = TrueSet those two options to FALSE or remove them from launch.ini.
-
The Default line in launch.ini must point to the Default.xex in your FSD folder.
For example: Default = HDD:FSDDefault.xex.
-
Thanks for another great release guys !

An FSD2 database won't work with F3 as far as I know (assuming you are updating from FSD2 to F3).
A clean install/download would be your best option.
-
If it is a phat console, I suggest removing R6T3 instead: http://www.free60.org/R6T3.
If you ever decide to take the console back to a retail state, the resistor will need replacing or you will get E80 when an update is attempted (it's a 10K resistor).

i have a trinity mother boarded but i want to know the build type...

The $SystemUpdate folder needs to go in the 16537 folder.
