    It's not likely to be a regular RROD, you have to get the eject button working in order to get the error code in order to figure out what the exact problem is, but it's behaving like you have a short somewhere in your console...

    I contacted the person who rghed my console and he says i should bring both my psu and console so he can see what the actual problem is and he further says if the problem is with my console it may not be repaired coz it's an old model.

    Yes, and your front USB ports look ok, and i'm going to go all out and guess you haven't used the one in the back at all which means it's likely also fine ;)

    Yup I haven't used it at all good guess. And just one more thing about repairs like all I need to do is to get those xclamps removed and put back thermal paste right like nothing has happened to rgh hardware and all.

    From the outside is good enough, just make sure i can see the pins inside of the ports...

    OK i'm taking it and just to tell u more my psu brick turns red from orange as i power my console on and in the last few attempts it turned green for a fraction of a second then again turned red. Thanks.

    When the PSU is red aswell it's likely a bad PSU or a short somewhere, can you do me a huge favor and take pictures of the USB ports (the actual ports) these are common culprits...

    Also, try unplugging the PSU and leaving it like that for 24h (both from the wall and console) then plug the PSU back into the wall socket (not console!) and check if it turns red, if so; the PSU is bad for sure... if not; try connecting it to the console (don't power it on yet) is the PSU red now? then it's probably a short in the standby voltage rail(s), if not try powering on the console, does it go red now? then it's a short somewhere in the active voltage... if not; great! you fixed the problem!

    Oh, and for each test you have to make sure to remove everything that's not required for the console to boot (any accessories, including the hdd... only leave video and power cables)

    Thanx swizzy i'm doing the tests right now and do i need to take the console apart to take the pictures of usb ports or just from the outside. And thanks bro.

    Hey Swizzy and Co, I just experienced RROD on my rgh console. I couldn't get the error code coz my eject button is diasabled so any idea on how could i get the error code. I've also included my pic of the console. One more thing my power supply also turning red and ofcourse console doesn't boot.

    to be honest, they told me to remove the jtag to do lt3.0 in order to play online with them. i know that lt flashes the cd drive, so i can still play my games but from the disc (i have them on cds) all i care about is the dlcs. Since the dlcs will go, i just have one question. Is there a way to make them work, even if i have to redownload them?

    Why don't u get a dual nand in that case u'd have access to live and also jtag functions but obviously not at the same time.

    free form my neighbor 30 40 feet away. they know i use it. i asked them.

    the only kicker. i have to restart all 3x routers remotely tho web browser to join on LiNK. hosting on LiNK works most the time without restarting routers

    1st router is my neighbor. 2ed router is my high power wireless WISP router. 3ed is my high power WiFi router 

    i can make and receive phone call tho WiFI on google voice, google hangouts on android phone. bad esn phone.

     

    all the above for 2 years now

    Is there a vacant property in ur neighborhood? ;)

    Well, i'd download it between 11MB/s and 15MB/s most of the time, but according to the contract with my ISP i should be getting up to 31.25MB/s downloads so, it'd take around 10 minutes maybe

    What!!! 10 min for 7 gb.... And I would be happy if i do it in 4-5 hours. :)

    Hey guys for anyone who's having the same problem here's a fix. go to your xbox settings I mean in xbox original dash and not dashlaunch and fsd/aurora... then go to display and finally to display discovery and there disable it if it's enabled... it will prompt u for restart select yes and then u'll be good... also u may have to select the "dolby digital audio 5.1" in the audio settings coz i did it and it worked. :)

    And JPizzle and scorpNZ I'm thinking about directing my posts about future troubles to u too along with Swizzy. ;)

    Hey Swizzy, I had been plugging my box via hdmi for a couple of months now and it was working fine until yesterday when sound is like coming and going every now and then and I have noticed sound is fine when I power on xbox but after a minute or so it dissapears. I checked my hdmi cable on my laptop and it worked fine but the problem seems to be when I plug it in my xbox although I'm not having a single issue with the picture quality on any resolution so port maybe fine too. What else could be wrong here.

    Edit: my tv specs are:

    Hd ready, 1920*1068 res, hdmi 1.3

    I wouldn't do that no... i would take it apart and use pressurized air (often referd to as "dust off" or similar) this is by far the best way to clean electronics from dust :)

    What model of Xbox 360 do you have? it might be normal that it goes above the temps you've set, but 10+ above isn't normal...

    I've phat console with falcon chip Gopro edition of 2008.

    Hey guys I've noticed that despite the fact I've set the temp threshold to 60 for all 4 in dashlaunch yet my gpu and memory temps are going above 60 and even touching 70 in some cases so far I think there might be something wrong with my fan (tho i can still hear it quiet as loud as before) or there maybe some dust accumulation. For now I've placed it on my laptop cooling pad and connected it to my xbox's usb port but I need a permanent solution and Can I use blower to clean it without opening it I mean putting the blower on the vents.?

    hi i'm need help.
    i have a problem with the aurora and freestyle (fsd)
    my xbox updated to 16747 and dashlaunch 3.12
    and everytime i want to play in the systemlink\unity with multiplayer after three or four minutes i don't found any rooms or people.
    and more problem if i want to update any games 
    the games start update any stopped after a few seconds
    what should i do??

    Did u setup the pluhgins in FSD? Perhaps u cantake the plugins test and see it passed everything.There's tutorial on this site in the tutorial section on link by Jpizzle I think that's going to solve the problem.

    If the game supports it, yes... but most likely not... however... if you get a CronusMAX or any other controller emulating device out there (there's plenty most have names like XFPS or so) you can indeed use a mouse and keyboard to play the game... but, it emulates the controller, so it's not going to be a 1:1 match to how it would feel to use the mouse on your computer in general... mainly because your mouse movements are translated into stick movements, and the stick is not as sensitive as the mouse can be ;)
