Manual scan prob/Deleting path prob/Not seeing games in Library

Don't know if this topic belongs somewhere else, if do, then sorry. ( :

The guy from T-X advised me to come here, and from what I see, this is the best place to ask for help.

 

I will copy/paste post with my problem from other 5 (five) forums, 3 native and 2 english-spoken ones. Not much of a help I got. If you guys don't help me, than I will sold my console. ( :

 

Just bought used XBOX Slim 250GB, with RGH chip, kernel version 2.0.16747.0, Dashboard: 3.0b rev483. Man. date 22/08/2011. Used from november 2013, so it's pretty much mint.

I needed a little bit more than 2 days for problems to start, and that was when I tried to do something more than just playing the games.

So, I extracted .img of a game (Guitar Hero) with Backup Creator, transferred it on FAT32 formatted USB drive, run .xex file to see does it work - it worked fine, then problem.
Following this (it's on Serbian, translated via google) tutorial, I tried to add new game to Library\Xbox360 Games. After many attempts, I kinda did it, I saw the game in the list, but the games were without covers and game infos. Then I run Guitar Hero, it kicked me out and showed ''online'' something, it can't (I deleted System Update folder when extracting). I thought OK, I will try to go out/in from Freestyle which I did, again to Library\Xbox360 Games - 0 of 0 games, no games found. When I go to manage paths, the path is the same as before (HDD1\Games). Again, in file manager, over the .xex file I tried to run PES2014 which was @console earlier - it works.

Tutorial says (translated via Google):

opens a new menu where we're going to change path, the rest do not touch anything

Then go all the way to the folder that we want and the Y confirm (select this directory)

It is desirable to change SCAN DEPTH 6 in the event that put the game into several sub-folder (eg game extractovana with ISO2GOD or XBLA games downloaded from the net when unpacking still have several folders and then at last be his Fillet of games)

then SAVE the X and follow to the end of all what it says it is now when the reset dash (Guide button and Xbox Dashboard) should load the game if you have the hdd, usb ... here with me it has read all of them, then you can download the Y Title Update if needed, and all covere although it works car, in any case, be on the Refresh Artwork

The bold part is a bit confusing. It didn't said anything to me, and the dash haven't reset.

I hope that the problem is easy to solve, that I didn't screwed up much.

P.S. Previous owner was (I think) transferring the games via external HDD, maybe it is a problem, that I wanna transfer them via USB?
P.S.2 If I in any sense breaking rules with this topic, please leave it for few hours, until I get home, hopefully solving this.

Also, I realised that I need to do Manual Scan, like on this video

The thing is that when I press on Manual Scan, I don't see anything at the bottom status bar, and it's (status bar) enabled in settings. It just says Status: Idle

 

UPDATE 2: I ''played'' with paths, and made a unnecesary one, now that I want to delete it, it says Deleting game data or something like that, and it takes ages and nothing happens, path still there.

So, to make long story short (but please read 1st post), my concers are as follows:

1. how to make Manual Scan work? When I press RT it shows just for a second like HDD\Games and that's it, no ''123 files copying'' or so.

2. how to delete those unnecesary paths properly? All games are located in HDD\Games on internal HDD, guess I need just one (for now, I'm thinking of setting one for games, one for arcades, one for emulators... when it comes time)

3. (guess this is connected with  #1) how to get back games to Library\XBox 360 Games?

4. I was thinking of asking how to transfer games via USB to internal HDD, but the first 3 are priority, I'll ask again (after reading other tutorials) if needed

 

I hope that I don't have to update something to newer version, or worse - to erase and install new... because I'm absolute newbie with this console and it's modding. I'm even ''scared'' to connect to wi-fi (and I dont know how), so I don't get some update which will screw something. ( :

UPDATE: I managed to update FSD to rev775, and I got my games back to Library (with no covers and game infos). The problem now is, when I try to run games from Library, it kicks me back to MS Dashboard, saying that I have to download it again. I can run games from HDD (.xex file) normally.

Any ideas how to solve that?

 

P.S. Now the manual scan works better, it says what it scans atm @status bar. Still don't know how to delete unnecesary paths ( just says deleting game data and it lasts for ages).
