n0head 0 Posted October 26, 2012 Hello! I have problems installing FSD 3 and DashLaunch 3 on a TestKit. Launching the instalation of FSD just bring a black screen and nothing hapens however games signer for xdk are running well (Just need taht FSD to launch 2 disk games). The instalation of DashLaunch tels me that the version of firmware is not supported but it's 14699 and it definetly should be compatible. I had the previous FSD 2.2 version and it worked ok (no autolaunch and I had to launch it from DashLauch xelllaunch.xex but it worked) but after deleting it (hdd formated) to instal the new version I got that black screen and now eaven 2.2 is gone and not installing (same black screen). I think I'm doing something wrong but I tried everithing and don't know what's wrong. I hope someone can give me a hand here.
n0head 0 Posted October 27, 2012 I've got FSD 2.2 runing by signing default.xex for devkit. After that I noticed my FSD 2.2 had no pugins, I've signet F3 default.xex for devkit and deleted plugins and It's runing well. But that dont't solve my problem because I need plugins for runing 2 disk games (and I need F3 only for 2 disk games) and signing FreeStylePlugin.xex for devkit does nothing (freezing on black screen whille F3 is loading) Mb anyone know what's wrong with plugins and how to make them run on my testkit? JPizzle 0 Posted October 29, 2012 For the plugin to be devkit compatible the source needs to be compiled specifically for a dev, right now the source for the plugin is not publicly available but we might have a plugin compiled for dev in the near future. So for now the plugin is only available to FreeBOOT users.
n0head 0 Posted October 31, 2012 Is there any other option for launching multidisk games or I'm stuck and just have to wait for the dev compatible plugins?
JPizzle 0 Posted October 31, 2012 well.... you could always use Fusion
n0head 0 Posted November 1, 2012 Fusion is a bit outdated and I don't like being stuck on an old kernel. I hope you could do a devkit compilation for plugins one day and I will be able to use the full advantage of FSD on my test console. Thanks for giving me info that current plugins are not compatible (otherwise I could be spending weeks trying to figure what I'm missing) And thanks in advance for the devkit compiled plugins (hope to see this soon)
