ConnectX and Qnap not working

Recommended Posts

Hi, in FSD 2.2 and 3.0 ConnectX is not working fine with Qnap NAS. After setup, I can access the Qnap Folders and Play Games. BUT if i restart 360, I cannt access Qnap Folder. It Shows Empty. If I change the Folder to another one. Restart 360 and Change Back to Original Folder, all games can be accessed until next restart. Actually I cant find any Solution to fix this....

Try clearing your connectx settings all to blank, save, reboot, enter the settings back in, reboot, make sure they work, reboot and see if they stick.

If that doesn't work try removing all traces of dash launch and set it back up and then try again.

Last thing to try after that is make sure your share name doesn't have any special characters in it, I had a similar problem where my home server name of SERVER-PC wouldn't work correctly and had to change it to SERVER.

Beyond that, that's all I know, I kinda gave up on using connectx as I have never been able to get original Xbox games to work or games loadded too slowly and games that did work where small enough to just be on the local drive.

Good luck.

PS. You may want to format the drive and start over if all else fails.

If that doesn't work try removing all traces of dash launch --> How can I do that?

Thanks ...seems to be the settings in Qnap. This only appears with Qnap and other users have the same problem.
