vekter303 0 Posted May 6 Recently tried to load up Hitman: Blood Money and recieved the error stating the game does not support PAL-50 as in this vid... https://youtu.be/JdapqHGUrbE?si=lKmJAJ35nrmfmy-C I have found the Xbox 360 output over HDMI to show loads of screen tearing (This would be on a 4K OLED at 60Hz without testing on the old LCD with cables) So, I wanted to ask what others experience has been of using various resolution outputs and what is lost or gained.. I understand that very few Xbox 360 games are rendered at 1080p natively. I wonder if I set the Xbox output display resolution to 720p and PAL60 then use the HDMI will that impact the upscaling that the Xbox uses and consequently effect the highest possible display resolution? Also, if setting the display output on the Xbox to 720p and PAL-60 (hoping that this will reduce screen tearing on my 60Hz display) will this present further issues with compatibilty for other games depending whether they support PAL-50/PAL-60? Ideally i am looking to set the console to have the best resolution and best performance. Switching modes back and forth is not convenient. Thanks in advance!
