AdrenalinJochen 0 Posted May 29, 2013 Hey community, i'm new here and glad to be here great forum ! I have found it at my way to update my FreestyleDash. I had version 2.2, a friend has made me my JTAG Box. Now, i have updated my Xbox to Version 3 rev735 and as good as anything works. I have not used DLC until now. I have read a many tutorials and i think i have done all right... There are two DLC for MetalGearSolid Rising. There are unlocked and region free. The game and DLC. The game has the newest TU, downloaded in the F3. And it is active. I have try to download it manually but it has not changed. This is the directory where the DLC's are: "OnBoardMUContent00000000000000004B4E080A00000002" I must have done something wrong, but i dont know what. I hope anything else can help me. greetings
Prayer 49 Posted May 29, 2013 Check them with Xm360 just to be sure they're unlocked.
AdrenalinJochen 0 Posted May 29, 2013 Check them with Xm360 just to be sure they're unlocked. Yes i forgot to say. I have try to use Xm360. It is at: 'Usb1Applicationsxm360' I try to edit the config but it has not help. When i start it and try to scan it scan a second and found nothing. No DLC, no TU's, no XBLA. Absolutely nothing. Prayer 49 Posted May 29, 2013 Configure a USB and see if your DLC works with it. I'm not 100% sure but I don't think DLC's will work with a MU? Then again I never tried it.
AdrenalinJochen 0 Posted May 29, 2013 May you give me a link to a tutorial or can you say me how it works? I have never configure a USB to work so. Thank you.
Prayer 49 Posted May 29, 2013 Plug a USB stick in your Xbox > in Metro/Nxe dashboard go to settings > Storage > USB Storage Device > Configure Now
Prayer 49 Posted May 29, 2013 After your USB has been configured, plug your USB in your PC, download Party Buffalo Drive Explorer, open your USB then drag and drop your DLC in the "0000000000000000" folder. Plug the USB back into the Xbox and enjoy your gaming.
AdrenalinJochen 0 Posted May 30, 2013 thank you. i have try it. but with this usb inside, i found no games. what could be worng?
Prayer 49 Posted May 30, 2013 What do you mean by games? The USB should be "empty" since you've configured it.
AdrenalinJochen 0 Posted May 30, 2013 i have configure it and with party buffalo driver i have copied the DLC (with the right folders) to the usb. with my games, i mean my games on my external drive for the games. metal gear solid for example.
Prayer 49 Posted May 30, 2013 If the DLC's are on the stick, plug it in your console, enable the latest TU and it should work.
AdrenalinJochen 0 Posted May 30, 2013 Yes the DLC's were on the stick. I have plug it in, but in my games selection wasnt any games. And my external Drive was not detected from the Xbox. Now i have all restored and all works fine out of the dlc.
Prayer 49 Posted May 30, 2013 I'm really confused here Where do you run your games from and where's your FSD folder located?
AdrenalinJochen 0 Posted May 30, 2013 Haha sorry for this Prayer so, my games are on my 80gb external drive. it is connected on the usb at the back of the xbox. my FSD is on a 4gb USB Stick at the back. And my content and cache folder are on the internal Memory Unit of the Xbox. okay?
Prayer 49 Posted May 30, 2013 Ok I get it now! Did you by any chance configure the USB stick with the FSD in it?
AdrenalinJochen 0 Posted May 30, 2013 Haha Great Do you mean as the other USB from the last try in the Nxe Dashboard? Yes i can, but where do i then did my FSD?
Prayer 49 Posted May 30, 2013 Yes the DLC's were on the stick. I have plug it in, but in my games selection wasnt any games. And my external Drive was not detected from the Xbox. Now i have all restored and all works fine out of the dlc. Could be more specific please? What "games selection" and what external drive? The 80 gb one? And has this ocurred in FSD or in NXE? Guide me step by step on what you did.
AdrenalinJochen 0 Posted May 31, 2013 Yes, Sorry it is not easy for me to write them down so specific in english. Yeah the 80gb external drive with my games/XBLA/Applications. In both Dashboards! The 80gb Drive was not displayed. Step by step okay...: - in NXE configured the USB - Turn Off xbox - content folders with dlcs (with Party Buffalo Drive Explorer) Moved on the usb - USB plugged in to the xbox - Turn on Xbox And then my 80gb was Not detected and i cant try if it work with the dlc. Prayer 49 Posted May 31, 2013 Why don't you copy your FSD folder from your USB to your external 80 gb HDD? My guess is that you have too many stuff plugged in and not enough power to power them all?
AdrenalinJochen 0 Posted May 31, 2013 Hm, i can try that later. I Show if you're right with this.
Prayer 49 Posted May 31, 2013 And you will also need to transfer your Metal Gear Rising save to your configured USB so that you can choose your save from the same USB where your DLC is located.
AdrenalinJochen 0 Posted May 31, 2013 So, i have plug in all and you're right with this. I have Not enough power for all. I have Plug in Kinect too ! : D. I have plug it out and it works after a restart. Yes i would not like to copy my FSD to my 80gb HDD because i like to structure my stuff an would like to seperate it. But this small USB can not consume many power. The reason was surely the kinect. Is there another way to see the dlc? I dont understand why it dont work with my OnboardMU. This is strange. Prayer 49 Posted May 31, 2013 To be honest I'm not sure, but I had the same problem with a Trials Evolution DLC and that solved the problem. By the way are you able to play your DLC?
AdrenalinJochen 0 Posted May 31, 2013 Oh okay I understand. No no it still not work : / Hm, it may be that the FSD cannot found the dlc because it search at the wrong place or so? maybe can they set the path that the FSD found the dlc? In a file maybe? Prayer 49 Posted May 31, 2013 Add a new path to your configured USB and then do a manual scan. See if it helps. I usually keep all my games and DLC's on my internal HDD with a scan path at the root of the directory and a scan depth of 5.
