Some Problems with F3 REV 735 (Crash at StartUP, No Link)

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I've got some Problems with the new F3 release.

At first I updated F3 with the xbox itselve. Everything went fine, but then I startet a game to test the new LiNK features and LiNK didn't work.

No problem, i thougt, because they said LiNK is offline for some time. But then I restartet the Xbox and the whole LiNK Buttons in the Xbox Guide weren't shown anymore!

So I decided to reinstall F3 and DashLaunch. I deleted the F3 and DashLaunch folder and copied the new versions from here on the harddrive.

But now F3 says after booting: "F3 CRASH - Freestyle 3 crashed, what would you like to do?". I can press "Try to continue..." but then the same message is shown again, which I can ignore, too. But I don't think thats normal.

The bigger Problem is, that the LiNK Buttons are still not shown in the Xbox Guide! And I've no idea why!

Here some Information from my F3 Settings:

- i'm signed in jqe360

- In the Plugin Settings:

  - Status: FSD Plugin is not Loaded!! And I cant even load it with the "Load" Button :D

ConnectX Plugin is not Loaded, too

  - F3Plugin: Link  is enabled, UPNP is enabled, RSS Feed in HUD is enabled, and the Tests shows everywhere "Pass"

I hope you can help me ;)

Greets (Sorry my bad english, i'm from germany),

Haschtl

Hi,

Your problem sound like a kernel problem. Have you updated your NXE (Kernel) and dashlaunch?Try to make sure you are using Dashlaunch 3.07 and at least a kernel above 15572.

Note that your Microsoft Dash a.k.a. NXE contains your kernel.

Cheers

Edit: My actual Kernel is only 14699 :o

First question, did you do the JTAG/RGH yourself or did you buy it pre-modded?

You can use AutoGG to build a new freeboot image, based on your current nand, or a previous dumped one.Make sure to check the DashLaunch box in the AutoGG settings.

I sent my box to somebody, who makes RGHacks. So I didnt do it myself :/

Okay, thanks! And how can I make this with AutoGG? :D Sorry, thats totally new to me.

How can i get my NAND?

i recommend you to first check out your current dash version!

Open your system settings and goto "Console Setting" and highlight "System Info".On the right a message will appear; what dashboard version does it show?

As you can see both your Dashboard (D) and Kernel (K) show a value lower then the 15572 i recommended. Assuming you never flashed your NAND before, i can recommend you to check out some tutorials.

First you need to make sure you can boot to Xell to get your CPUKey.You can use "NAND Flasser 360" to read your current NAND to a Flashdrive.Use AutoGG to build a new Freeboot image. and use rawflash (through Xell) to write the new image.

It's important for you te use tutorials, to have step by step instruction. Also try to find as much information as you need before doing anything (:

Note that doing the writing wrong can break your RGH/JTAG.

Okay, thanks a lot!! :)Now Ive downloaded AutoGG 0.9, copied the NAND with NAND Flasher to the pc, copied the CPU-Key and inserted the NAND and the Key into AutoGG...

Can you please control the steps i'm going to do now: :D- Download Dashboard 16202 with Avatar

- Create, Flash and Save NandXell

- Create, Flash and Save XeBuild NAND

- IP Flash ?

Writing the NAND replaces the Core software of you console, if something goes wrong, the only thing to do is use hardware to fix it.

Try to find a tutorial that takes you through all steps so you know what you're doing.Don't use the IP-functions in AutoGG. Also keep in mind that you don't have the hardware to correct if something goes wrong.

You don't need NandXell, you only need to build a new NAND image.

Okay.... now i've updated the Kernel.

But: FSD freezes shortly after booting :DI can launch Xell and I can load the original NXE, because I can click throug the Xbox Guide to the Settings, if I'm fast enought ;)

So I could look after the Kernel Version... Now the Dashboard and the Kernel are 16202. But how can I make FSD work again? I can launch XexMenu from the NXE

To make things easier: you can hold RB while booting to go to NXE directly (:

What you can do, is update your Dashlaunch to 3.07. After that, do a fresh install for FSD.

You need to install the Avatar/Kinect data that matches your kernel version.

Is this the $SystemUpdate folder? because ive no idea how to install it! :DAnd another problem only with CoD BO2: I want to play online with TU6, i can join a lobby, and games are shown, but if i click on it, it makes nothing for some seconds, than it looks like it loads, but it gets suddenly interrupted. So i cant join games :/

Yes it is. You have a great tutorial on how to install the Avatar/Kinect data in the Tutorials section so take a look.
