Take out powercord to harddrive ? Or take out usb cable when xbox is off ?
but sometimes i'll forget to remove it manually.

I have a weird issue. I'm using a lg hxd5 500gb external hdd for freestyle dash and my games, but the thing is that even when i turn off the console the hdd keeps running. Now obviously i don't want to leave it just wasting energy and possibly the hdd itself, but sometimes i'll forget to remove it manually.
Is there any way to set fsd or dashlaunch so it cuts power completely off the usb ports once the console is off?

Have you enabled UPnP on your router?
yes, but it still says UPNP enabled router not found.
Just to be clear, the xbox isn't plugged in to the router, it's plugged in to the laptop who's getting wireless internet from the router and the bridging it to the console.

once you are on the FSD3 manin screen, go to settings, select plugin settings, and then select F3Plugin:
1- Enable LiNK – always on – ticked
2- Enable UPNP for port mapping – ticked
3- Data port is 3071
4- Broadcast port is 3072
Finally click TEST and hopefully you should be pass all.
All fail except the JQE360 authentication status

If FSD is able to grab art for games, simply run the LiNK test and if you set everything up correctly, the test will pass and you will be able to play online.
Make sure you have DashLaunch (with PingPatch enabled and DevLink disabled) and Avatar/Kinect data installed.
Yes i'm already able to download covers and title updates. What's the LINK test though?

I currently set a bridge between my laptop's wireless connection and local area connection, then set an ethernet cable between the console and the laptop so the laptop receives the wireless signal and transfers it to the console.
Does that mean i just have to follow the instructions in red to get LINK to work?

I don't think so.Edit: But it might work if you configure a USB stick in Metro dash. And if you have a 4 gb Slim model you can store the DLC'S there aswell.
The problem is there's so much dlc i'd like to keep. 4gb doesn't get you much

You should set the default path to match the default.xex's location of FSD in Dashlaunch.
And how do i do that? I've installed dashlauch and have fsd in my usb currently.
Edit: Should i leave it in the usb or would it be better to move it either to flash or the hdd?

Is it possible to have the xbox recognize dlc content while storing it in my regular hdd and not the xbox's?

I'm currently using Xexmenu to go into the hdd and starting it manually but the old one just started automatically.
Is this because of dash launch? Because i think i got some sort of error when installing it but i honestly am not even sure what it is it's supposed to do in the first place.
